Thabeet His defense is exactly what Memphis needs. Conley is trustworthy. Plus they are one of the best defensive lottery teams and Thabeet would make them Top 5 in NBA defenses.
absolutely disagree with absolutely disagree with 76erBaller, thabeet would be perfect for a team that is close to the playoffs. NBA now is all about the point guard, look what DROSE did for the bulls. Mike Conley is garbage until further notice and he can be a decent backup or they can trade him to portland like they almost did last year. Rubio definetly would be the right choice for the grizz, he can bring stability to the team because he is a PURE pass first point guard and will make his teammates better. In a deep draft thabeet would be a 9-12 pick, u dont waste the No.2 overall pick on a purely defensive player, this is where u make or brake a franchise. They have Gasol right now who can still fill their center spot for now(not like theyre going anywhere) so take Rubio and maybe next year they’ll have better prospects, but Rubio will have a bigger impact or thabeet.
I disagree that the NBA is I disagree that the NBA is all about the point guard. Looking at the last 4 teams in the playoffs, only one, Denver, has an elite level point guard. I don’t know much about Rubio, but I like Thabeet because I go to UConn. (Yeah. Huge homer pick.)
