Strengths: Bawa is a raw African low-post bigman with a lot of potential. A very preconscious kid, he is very coachable as he has a great attitude and work ethic. Interior defense is Bawas strength, and he holds his ground defensively exceptionally well. He has good fundamentals, but is not an offensive threat right now. He has only been playing basketball for three years but has a good understanding of his role on the team. He has an excellent physique for his age, and was measured as having a 8-10 standing reach, and a 7-3 wingspan.

Weaknesses: Bawa shows flashes of great athleticism and body control, but most of the time he is a little bit awkward and off balance, as he is still getting coordinated with his huge frame. His hands are not reliable right now. He needs to do a lot of drills to soften them and improve his ball control. His footwork is also very underdeveloped. He knows how to move in the post but doesnt do so at the same speed that the game is being played at. He is a major project but has a lot of potential and is still quite young.
