NBA Comparison: N/A

Stevan Petrovic – 8/24/2006

Strengths: Bogdanovic has great shooting touch and a fundamentally strong game He can hit three pointers as well as mid-range jumpers with great accuracy Bogdanovic is both a great shooter and scorer … He is very effective on the boards offensively and defensively; possesses a very good rebounding instinct He’ll play the small forward position if he makes in the NBA His shooting touch; mechanics and release are very good A player who has a great shot selection and does not force anything offensively A team player who sees court very well and knows when to make the right pass Will punish shorter defenders by catching the ball on the low post and shooting over the top of them with the turnaround jumper Has solid ball handling skills, and will push the ball on the fast-break Bogdanovic improved his ball handling ability from a few years ago His go to-move is a pump fake on the three point, one dribble, pull up jumper around 15 feet; he loves to shoot 3s too

Weaknesses: Bogdanovic’s biggest weakness is his lack strength. He needs to work harder in the weight room; must get his upper body stronger Has mediocre athletic ability at best His quickness, speed and athleticism are below average; he must improve upon it if he thinks he’ll be playing at another level Has trouble defending quicker and more athletic players Bogdanovic has difficulty creating his own shoot and has a poor first step that makes it difficult for him to penetrate

Stefan Lorenz – 1/1/2004

Has been called Yugoslavia’s best scorer. A great shooter and scorer. Luka is a gifted, though slightly built wing forward, with a super consistent shooting touch. He has also shown very good court sense and vision which makes some people wonder if he could handle the point guard spot. He’ll likely play a point forward position once he makes the NBA. If he reaches his potential, Bogdanovic could turn into a Peja-like player. Once considered too slow, but now he keeps up with the guards. A bigtime prospect.
