NBA Comparison: Michael Ruffin/Ryan Hollins

Strengths: Long, rangy bigman with an unorthodox, but effective game … Extremely long with a 7-3 wingspan and utilizes his length well with numerous highlight finishes … Loves to catch the ball in deep and face the basket and take opposing bigs off the dribble … Has an efficient mid range floater and turnaround hook shot … A good athlete, recording a 35 inch max vert at the 2024 NBA Draft Combine … Has a bag of tricks offensively … Has a lot of wiggle and shake to lose defenders in the paint … Good at creating baskets for himself on the block, takes his time sizing up the defense and generally uses a fake to set up the drive where he utilizes his incredible length for dunks or shots … Takes a lot of shots with one hand where he initiates contact and then uses his length to flip right handed shots over defenders … With his length and lift, gets a lot of powerful two handed dunks off two feet …

Weaknesses: Will turn 24 in July making him one of the oldest players in the draft … Not the most fluid of athletes, and not very fast running the floor … Still missing parts to his game and lacks any real semblance of an outside shot … Made just 1-14 from three as a 5th year senior, after having made 6-19 (32% at Idaho the previous season) … Very unorthodox body type with hunched shoulders and thick legs … Struggles to create much outside of the paint in isolation. lacks the foot speed to get by opponents off the dribble, and struggles to be a factor outside of 10 feet of the basket … Not much of a rim protector or shot blocker … Uncertain how his game will translate lacking great shooting ability … Shot has a slow and unorthodox release and struggles to extend it … At times can get too enamored with taking opponents off the dribble … Could stand to focus more attention to detail on the defensive end of the floor …

Overall: Played two seasons of Division 1, at Washington State and Idaho, after playing three seasons in Juco at Wenatchee Valley …

Notes: Measured 6′ 7.75” barefoot, 9′ 0.00” standing reach, 235 lbs, 7′ 3.00” wingspan, 29 standing vert, 35 max vert at the 2024 NBA Draft Combine … Measured 6′ 8.00” barefoot, 9′ 0.00” standing reach, 237 lbs, 7′ 3.50” wingspan, 30.5 vertical at the 2024 Portsmouth Invitational Tournament …
