Overall:

NBA Comparison: N/A

Strengths: A Spot up 3-Point shooter… shot 42% from beyond the arc this season… very confident shooter who isn’t scared to take big shots… has the green light and will shot it in any situation… was hitting 3’s in transition during the playoffs this year… has the mental toughness to perform in big games… good size for his position… works and plays hard on a consistently… a successful proven winner in the CBA who has been a key of Liaonings past success… late bloomer… willing to learn and will has room to get better despite his age

Weaknesses: Other than his 3-Point shooting, he doesn’t stand out in any other category … not a great rebounder despite his size at the 3 … lacks foot speed to guard the perimeter… lacks defensive fundamentals (as most Chinese players) … short wingspan … needs to get much stronger … not the greatest athlete … overall upside is limited in terms of NBA potential

Notes: Has really risen as one of the top forwards in China in the recent 2 years. Is a proven 3-Point shooter (42% in 2014-15, 38% in 2013-14). Will be part of the Chinese National Team, as he was not in previous years. Part of a new generation of upcoming players for the Liaoning Leopards, who should compete for a Championship for years to come. Sponsored by Li Ning. Played for the New Orleans Pelicans during the 2015 Las Vegas Summer League.
