hi
Strengths: Bruising strength. Physically overpowering type of player … Has a huge base with thick legs and big shoulders … Uses his size and momentum well to create space for himself inside … Solid rebounder who boxes out well … Offensively he establishes position well on the block … Offensive game is simple but effective … Can create shots with a drop step or hook shot … A lane clogger, his immense strength makes things difficult for opposing players to operate inside … Shows solid toughness and heart … Hustles and defends with good intensity … Has a great attitude, wants to improve, works hard … Four years of post play in the ACC gives him an excellent level of experience …

Weaknesses: Short for the C or PF positions … Skills are more suited to play center, but at 6-8, he lacks ideal size … Lacks great quickness and foot speed to guard anyone facing the basket … Lacks shot blocking ability … Not a huge leaper … Athletic ability is a bit mechanical … Reflexes, foot speed and leaping ability limit his ability to grab rebounds out of his area … Doesn’t have great fluidity and speed in the open floor … Lacks great passing and ball handling ability … His free throw shooting hit an all time low in his senior year at under 50%, after averaging over 60% over his first 3 seasons … Should look to get in better shape, dropping 20 pounds would likely give him added speed and mobility … Offensive skills are limited … Lacks range and consistency shooting the ball …

Notes: Was a McDonald’s All American coming out of high school.
