Stanford hoopsParticipanti think this is apretty good trade for both teams for the grizz because randolph is a all star talent on offense( not so much on d)..but with him thabeet can concentrate on defense more then offense plus randolph is a great rebounder…works for the clippers not really because of Q but more for blake with more time he will be getting without looking over his shoulder…which could be a bad thing if he wasnt such a hard worker

zruc57ParticipantPeople constantly overate Randolph. Yes, he puts up 20/10, but his defense is horrible and he needs nearly 20 shots to get his 20/10. There is a reason that every team Randolph has left (blazers, Knicks, now clippers) immediatedlly gets better. Chris wallace saves another franchise.

Stanford hoopsParticipanti love responding to peopel who dont do there reserch..zachs attempts are on par with the other pf who put up the numbers he puts..he shot 48percent which doesnt blow anyones socks off but it also shows he doesnt need any where near 20 shots to get his numbers…he went to the clippers and to the knicks..2 teams that were losers before he got there lost while he was there and will be losers after though they have a chance to be better point being it wasnt him that caused them to lose since they werent winning before he got there..as far as the blazers htey were rebuilding so make sure you take that into account..yes zach isnt the best defender and he doesnt pass awhole lot but none of that diminishes his ability to rebound and score..reguardless where he goes he shows he can still do those 2 things…so where exactly is he overrated the numbers and watching him play shows that he is what he is…very good offensively not much on defense doesnt pass awhole lot but doesnt overly shoot either

gatorheelsParticipanti still think it was a pointless trade for Memphis…why take on that terrible contract. I mean Randolph isn’t going to lead the Grizzlies to the playoffs. Memphis shouldve save their money and went wild next year in the free agent market. They at least should’ve made a move for Lee this year.

Stanford hoopsParticipantprobably because they are far from the playoffs and not many free agents are breaking there necks to come there..not a bad short term thing where thabeet doesnt have the pressure to become a great scorer he can just concentrate on being a great rebounder..and if they want they could bring zach off the bench to hide his defense against the other teams second unit

MattissickParticipantWhat do you guys think he will average in memphis? I’m going with 23 and 11 haha he should get plenty of opportunity right?

d-grizzlyParticipant16 and 11. shooting 46%

Stanford hoopsParticipantI’d say 18-11. Gay dissapears to much for my taste and mayo will have a couple off nights. So I say at least that on the 48 or more percent shooting like last year wit the sorry clippers seeing as he’s the number one post option

MattissickParticipantI wonder if he’ll flip out and throw his headband at the ref like he did last year in new york haah

d-grizzlyParticipanthopefuly the grizz use him for a year, and then next year-trade his expiring contract away. in the draft they need to pick up a strong powerfoward…which won’t be a problem in this upcoming draft

OldSkoolBasketballParticipantMemphis sure loves to get ex blazers that have bad attitudes. Ex: Bonzi Wells, Darius Miles, and now Zach Randolph

Stanford hoopsParticipantmaybe he will get the idea and pull a rasheed wallace and not be so bad…he wasnt that bad as a clipper

j1232eParticipantIts not that he is a bad player, zach is a 20-10 player. The package he brings with him is the problem with Randolph. The bad attitude, terrible team player.
