    East
1.Orlando – So much depth at basically every position and just simply outscore teams with the 3 ball
2.Boston – KG comes back and has a great MVP caliber season. Rondo and Perkins break out
3.Toronto-Turkoglu acquisition will win Toronto more games coming down to the clutch. More depth
4.Cleveland – Shaq trade won’t work out for Cleveland but they’ll still have a good season
5.Washington – Arenas back at 100% will make the Wizards a better team. Lots of depth.
6.Chicago – Derrick Rose breaks out this year but losing Ben Gordon will hurt this team
7.Atlanta – Atlanta loses more games this year than last year because of depth in Eastern Conference
8.Philadaphia – Losing Andre Miller hurts this team but Iguodala, Young & Williams all break out

    West
1.New Orleans – This team will surprise the West. Okafor trade will prove to be a great acquisition
2.San Antonio – Richard Jefferson puts Spurs over the hump.
3.LA Lakers – Despite the fact that the Lakers have a healthy Bynum, teams lacks a true playmaker and that will be exposed come next season.
4.Denver- Losing J.R. Smith for 7 games will hurt this team. Losing Kleiza hurts to. Bench Scoring..??????
5.Dallas – Marion acquisition will make Dallas a better team but the West is just too deep.
6.Utah – If Boozer stays or doesn’t stay with Utah this year, they’ll have a good season cuz Jerry Sloan
7.Portland – Miller signing won’t be good fit with Roy because Roy’s a playmaker most of the time and Miller can’t hit the 3.
8.LA Clippers – Blake Griffin puts LA over the hump battling with Oklahoma for the 8th playoff spot.

first off…. no way kg has an mvp type season at his age…
second off… the nuggets first seven opponents are utah, portland, memphis, indy, NJ, miami, ATL. the only people i see them losing to is POSSIBLY utah and portland… jr smith is not THAT much of a difference maker.
third off… no chance toronto has a better record than cleveland… the only major acquisitions were turkoglu derozan and bellinelli, they wont make the jump from 9 to 3 by just adding them..

cleveland will have the best record, followed by boston, LA, denver, SA then portland..

i also think u were right about dallas and new orleans taking major leaps(just not that far for NO…) shawn marion will play pretty good for dallas…

DUDE!!! U picking toronto ahead of cleveland ? and new orleans ahead of the lakers & spurs? the hornets lack depth at the wings and they don’t have a good bench..i don’t see the clippers making the playoffs..even if blake griffin has a great rookie year..the talent is there for them to beat anyone..but they don’t have a true leader nor good chemistry..i see them winning 35-40 games..

first off take philly and replace with detroit because philly lost andre and didnt get anything in free agency and detroit lost the disease AI and aging sheed and got ben gordon and charlie v. second switch atlanta with chicago rose wont break out that much third no way cleveland is going to have better record than orlando or boston unless injury’s plague either team, shaq isnt much of a difference maker except clogging the lane for lebron last denver glorious run last year is ending they will be 4th seed or lower depending how okafor or marion does with team

how do u know how the clipper’s chemistry is? they have some new players and its a totally different season. the lottery winning has really changed the attitude in the clippers organization and the hiring of jon lucas should help with the attitudes in the locker room.

    East:
1.Cleveland- too much talent, plus LeBron will be very motivated
    2.Orlando
3.Boston- still very good, but another one year older
4.Toronto-last season they finished strong, and now they come stronger, Bosh could have MVP type of season
5.Wizards-with big IF, if Arenas can be top10 scorer then together with Jamison, Butler, Foye, Miller this team can suprise us
6.Chicago- I believe in this team, they lost Gordon but Deng is back and now they will have Salmons from day 1 plus D.Rose will be better i will make Noah&Thomas better, i think
7.Atlanta- still same good team, but this year top8 in the East looks better
8.Miami- D.Wade is D.wade, plus i believe that Beasley will show why he was 2nd pick year ago.

    West:
    1.Lakers-so many good players
2.Spurs-Duncan,Parker,Manu,RJ wow..plus i think Mcdyess and Blair will be very good as 20-25mpg players
3.Portland-Roy and LA still can improve, now they have Andre, and I think Greg will be OK
4.Denver-no Kleiza, no Jones, but I think Melo back to be top5 scorer , and with Billups&co they will be good
5.Utah- if Boozer stays they could be even higher
    6.Dallas
    7.Hornets
8.Suns- I think with no Shaq Amare will be monster(around27ppg10rpg) it will be enough.

okay for you putting the Raptors over the Cavs.

the Raptors will have a matchup problem against Lebron either put a shorter guy on him. or pur a not very strong defensively player in Turkoglu on him. and the Cavs are off a strong season adding sevarel good players while not losing many?

so the lakers lack a playmaker huh? Have you ever heard of a guy named Kobe Brynat? He can’t create things from time to time.

Orlando will be alot worse, vince carter does not fit their system, and he will not help them win like turklogo did.
Cleveland will defintatlly win the east.
and spurs and la will compete for the west. With the nuggets in 3rd

But really how does Vince carter fit their system

Toronto is able to cuase matchup probalems. I do however agree with you at 3 and Toronto at 4 because LeBron, but no way they’re number one unless you’re stupid. Boston, with everyone healthy again is going to get it followed by Orlando, who added a big time scorer in Vince Carter. Following:

    1. Boston
    2. Orlando
    3. Cleveland
    4. Washington
    5. Toronto
    6. Chicago
    7. Atlanta
    8. Miami

    1. Los Angeles L.
    2. San Antonio
    3. Portland
    4. New Orleans
    5. Denver
    6. Utah
    7. Dallas
    8. Oklahoma City

One thing in particular about your list that I would change is adding Chcago in the east over either Philly or detroit. Salmons is a better sg then Gordon imo and plays great defense. Deng will return and add another scorer. I honestly think Rose will become an all star next year. Tyrus thomas in a contract year will play his best ball.

    Everybody says that.

I cannot put Chicago in my playoff race man. Derrick Rose will have a good season but I dont know how good. I think the lost of Gordon to a team who barely made it last year will hurt a lot. I think Salmons is decent but not better then Gordon because he never was “the guy”. Tyrus Thomas can have a good season but I dont see a “big” season on the horizon this year.

I think there the 9th best team in the East.

Detroit and Philadelphia to me, have better talent.

i don’t see the Hawks being that low they added Crawford and still have basically the same team as last year. their big question is really if Horford can p[lay center but the Raptors have a few. who’s their backup big men? can Bargiani o Bosh be a legit center? who plays shooting guard?
their a playoff team but i think the 6th seed.

    East

    1.Boston
    2.Orlando
    3.Cleveland
    4.Atlanta
    5.Washington
    6.Toronto
    7.Philadelphia
    8.Chicago

    West

    1. La Lakers
    2. San Antonio
    3. Dallas
    4. New Orleans- surprise team Okafor will be a beast for them next year and i believe they might have three all stars.
    5.Denver
6.Portland- call me crazy but i think Miller will hurt them a bit by taking shots away from their young guys who made this team tick last year.
    7.New Orleans
    8.Phenoix

a 7th seed? Are you retarded? Who cares if Miller can’t hit the three? THAT’S A GOOD THING because everyone else on the Blazers can and they need penetration from Miller so that can create open jumpers for guys like Webster, Roy and even Lamarcus.

    Terrible list…New Orleans a 1 seed? What a joke.
