valentineEveryone on this forum is a knowledgable basketball fan. Differences of opinion aside, I doubt there’s a more knowledgable basketball community in the world.
So this is your chance to make a prediction that even hardcore scouting fans aren’t aware of. So without fear of being negged, make a wild prediction (and be sure to finish your post off with….)
"You heard it here first"…
Can’t wait to see what you guys have up your sleeve. Lets see how far ahead of the game you really are.
Only safe options get negged,
I’ll start….Jonah Bolden for UCLA is a 2015 lottery pick. You heard it here first!

The Scare Crow RisesParticipantI think Aaron Gordon will become a better player than Andrew Wiggins
Dante Exum will be a huge bust but goes to LA anyway
Marcus Smart drops like rock and goes late lotto
Joel Embiid gets red flagged by team doctors and stills go high
Tj Warren and Doug McDermont ball out next year, making an impact on Playoffs teams and finish in the top 5 in Rookie of the Year voting
Julius Randle becomes the Best Pf prospect to enter the league since Blake Griffin, in the open court NBA game JR will be a beast…Hard Working bully in the paint, skilled and athletic, and clearly knows his role as a inside scoring threat with face up ability
Philadelphia wins the draft Lottery and takes the Sure Thing at #1Duke F Jabarri Parker, who’ll battle Julius Randle for ROY
Andrew Wiggins struggles in Milwaukee next year but shows some flashes of brillance, fans will support him violently and critics will rag on him hard until his rookie contract is up
Nik Staukus has a JJ Reddick like career, bouncing around the league until he finds a good fit
James Young taken in the top ten makes him a bust, if he is taken in the 14-20 range he is a steal LOL

Rip255Haha nice. I like most of them. Agree especially with Stauskas and Embiid. Bad back is downright scary and I think he actually slides below Randle to 4 or 5.

ibe12ParticipantI also agree with mostly everything you have here as well. I think Randle will be better than a lot of people think. I also think Wiggins will have a solid rookie year but won’t be a threat for rookie of the year. At best I see him being a second or third option which isn’t bad but the expectations for him are so high people will expect more.

mtpandolfiParticipantI wouldn’t say J.J.’s career was based on being "bounced around the league." That would hold true for players like Jim Jackson, Joe Smith, Matt Barnes, Steve Blake, etc. J.J. played almost seven seasons in Orlando before he was traded so the team could get younger and build through the draft. He finished out that season with the Bucks with everyone knowing that he wouldn’t resign with them, then signed with the Clippers tin the off-season.
If Staukus were to have a similar career he would be drafted high, sit at the end of the bench for the first few years while he worked on his game, eventually getting meaningful minutes, and then becoming a starter on a contender. J.J. knew his weaknesses and worked on them to the point where we was known for more than just being a shooter.

KHAM83ParticipantHmmm, I’m seeing negs out there, but here goes:
With their second lottery pick, the Sixers selects Center Jusuf Nurkic.
Has a decent jumper for a center and apparently they’ve improved Noel’s, so they won’t really crowd the paint on offense. I can see them bullying the eastern conference.

aramboneParticipantPretty much the same body, same wingspan, same super smooth movements, same great handles, and Anderson showed this past year he has a vast scoring toolset, which will only grow with time.
Yes, Anderson is less athletic, and yes he will never be an all time great scorer, but he is a better passer for sure, and the fact is he can get his shot off pretty much every time against anyone.
Anderson will probably always be a pass first player, but I really think he’ll be called upon to take over a game with his scoring sometimes, and I think he’ll have surprising success in doing so, drawing comparisons to KD in the process because their bodies are so similar.

2. Tim Duncan and Manu Ginobli will retire after winning the championship this year, which may cause Coach Popovich to retire. Always said he’d leave with Timmy.
3. Kawhi Leonard will be a top 15 player in 2 years.
4. Anthony Davis will shoot at least 35% from three in 2 years.
