OldSkoolBasketballParticipantPau Gasol and Al Horford? David Lee deserves it more than Horford and Gasol miss too many games to be over Kaman. Oh well I guess thats how it is when your team is number one in the west.

d-grizzlyParticipanthappy to see randolph finally make it and to see a grizzly back in the all star since pau. truly good news!

Toronto16ParticipantWhat? Al Horford over Andrew Bogut and David Lee? Thats ridiculous.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 01/28/2010 - 9:10am #251424

IndianaBasketballParticipantI can’t argue with the list.
– Horford over Lee… Lee has had the better season, but Hoford has been very solid himself AND is on a much better team. I’d have picked Lee though…
– D-Will over Mr. Big Shot… You can’t argue with D-Will. He’s the 2nd best point guard in the league and is having a great individual season, plus his team is right there in the playoff hunt. He’s deserving of his first All-Star game.
– Gasol over Kaman… I think Kaman is very deserving, but you can’t argue with Pau. He’s missed quite a few games, but the record doesn’t lie… When he plays, the Lakers usually win.

esperanzafleet69Participantkaman should take that personally…. he is BY FAR the best center in the west…. he just got plain snubbed being left off the fan ballot to begin with…
0 - Posted on: Thu, 01/28/2010 - 9:16am #251429
WildDudeParticipantBrook Lopez is the best Center in the east and was worthy of an All Star bid, despite the nets only having 4 wins… to be quite honest he’s their only player doing anything, but with the addition of Kris Humphries expect more wins outta the Nets!
0 - Posted on: Thu, 01/28/2010 - 9:17am #251430

IndianaBasketballParticipantI’d have picked Lee, but you can’t really argue with Horford… He’s having a very good season on a great team that’s 11 games ahead of the Knicks and 10 games ahead of Milwaukee. He’s averaging 14 points, 10 rebounds and over a block per game. It’s not THAT ridiculous…

BlazermannParticipantno david lee thats crazy !!!!! im kinda sad thats fncked up
0 - Posted on: Thu, 01/28/2010 - 10:15am #251438

seecocoaballParticipantDerrick Ros gets a chance to persuade Dwyane Wade to come back home. I expect to see Rose do some Englewood type moves. Murray Park standup – we back on! This is where the world comes out and see the stars of all stars.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 01/28/2010 - 10:16am #251439

seecocoaballParticipantI think they David Lee off because of their system inflates statistics. I can imagine someone like Telfair exploding his statistic sheet in that system just from uncritical thinking.

lalailaParticipantI think if we to choose two Hawks it should be JJ and J-Smooth..

R-Dot-13ParticipantHorford over Lee?
Smith doesnt get in?
Gasol over Kaman?This is garbage.
Im not sure Rose deserved it more than Iguodala either
I would switch
Horford to Lee
Rose to J Smith
Gasol to KamanGasol isnt even a C

there are 7 1st time all stars0 - Posted on: Thu, 01/28/2010 - 10:53am #251447

thaprodigyParticipantJ-Smoove got snubbed because of his own teammate, Horford is in because if you take him away from that team they’re not as good not saying that the same wouldn’t happen with lee and the knicks but they already suck (Ask the Mavs)

DWadeBIWParticipantbut that’s not official right?

armanhorford over lee ? WTF and if the 2 hawks are selected why horford over j-smoove….. and i dont get it rose is allstar in his second season…. durant had 25 ppg last year and wasnt all star…. and gasol…. he didnt play 30 games this season….

bkballerParticipantKNICKS DO NOT INFLATE STATISTICS… im tired of that crap. Get your facts before spewing garbage like idiots. Knicks are 10th in the league in pace,10th!!!!. That means 9 teams play faster than them. The knicks are also like the worst fast break team in the league because they have the worst starting PG in the league. They average less than an extra possession than the 15th paced team in the league, less than a possession per game spread between 8-9 rotations players does NOTHING to your average.
Plus I look at the bright side of Lee getting snubbed, he wont have that as an argument when negotiating his new contract this summer =]

llperezis this just one sites opinion? Because some of you are acting like this is the final roster, but i thought it was just what that site suggested should be the reserves.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 01/28/2010 - 12:33pm #251471

MagikKnickParticipantNo, these are the alleged “leaked” rosters,….and multiple sites are reporting the same thing, its not 100% accurate but it happens every year, the rosters come out before the NBA reveals them officially, so, i believe its legit, but i guess we gotta wait till 8pm ET to confirm that…
&Thank You bkballer…i was going to say the same thing, but im tired of people that hear Mike D’Antoni is our coach, and instantly assume we play 100mph…
0 - Posted on: Thu, 01/28/2010 - 12:52pm #251474

llperezif this is final, then lee got robbed. No offense to horford, but give me lee.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 01/28/2010 - 1:27pm #251483

CLYDE-frazier10Participantjust saying if david lees numbers r soooo inflated with the system why cudnt the lakers stop him from making a jumper or getting a rebound. and if u guys recall lee has participated in the rookie sophomore contest were he won mvp and compare stats with him and horford lee wins everything except blocks turnovers and fg% BIGGEST SNUB THIS YEAR
0 - Posted on: Thu, 01/28/2010 - 2:21pm #251488
joecheck88Participantwell the east is officially correct, i like the lists. winning was rewarded and you cant argue that. Al Horford is the fourth option on that team at best, which some may argue thats why he shouldnt be on the team, but he is still averaging a double double. you cant argue with that. 5 points less and a rebound less than David Lee on a team with what 11 more wins? I will say that this was a close call but dont hate on al horford, he deserves it.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 01/28/2010 - 2:25pm #251493
KevinDurantRocksParticipantWere alot of people that i wouldn’t have picked to be on the allstar team
0 - Posted on: Thu, 01/28/2010 - 2:27pm #251490

MagikKnickParticipantI guess its official now, TNT just announced it..
I understand that wins have a factor, but Al Horfords 13 & 9 cant compete with David Lees borderline 20 & 11, I never wish harm on anybody but I wouldnt mind if a Kevin Garnett decided to sit this one out, and they give D-Lee the opportunity to go to Dallas…0 - Posted on: Thu, 01/28/2010 - 2:30pm #251495

R-Dot-13ParticipantLike..
Im glad that Rondo, Randolph an Wallace got in..But cmon?
Kaman and Lee need to be in this game.0 - Posted on: Thu, 01/28/2010 - 7:34pm #251556
doubledribblerParticipantThe list wasn’t that bad. My biggest complaint was Iverson by a mile and that was voted on by the fans. I’m not a Josh Smith fan, but he earned it this year. There is no reason he should not be on the team. I can’t really complain about Horford. The team needed a 2nd center based on voting rules. The best of the bunch was probably Brook Lopez, but he’s on the worst team in the league. Outside of him, there were a lot of guys that are all at about the same level of overall play.
I thought the West was going to screw up by not adding Zach Randolph. The only guy that could be a mistake is Pau, but the Lakers are a completely different team without him. I would take him out for missing too many games. I would pick his brother instead. Kaman has had a great season, but he’s really not as efficient or as good of a defender of Marc. Bynum is another choice, but he is way too inconsistent. Plus if someone talks about inflating stats, he is surrounded by amazing passers in guys like Kobe, Pau, Odom and Luke Walton. He doesn’t have to work as hard as a lot of guys for good looks.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 01/28/2010 - 9:11pm #251565
NYK2010ParticipantLee deserved to be an All Star almost everyone has said so even other NBA players Duncan and Kobe said he’s been great this year.
