    Tony Allen tweeted that after his playing days are over he wants to become a referee..

    He has a very high basketball IQ,that has allowed him to become 1 of the better defenders in the league….

    But i don’t think has the Temperment to deal with the Attitudes of NBA players…

     When he realizes refs dont get paid the millions that the players do I am sure he will change his mind

    you guys realize that after 10 years of playing in the NBA he’ll have collected a little more than 35-40 million dollars…you really think finances are going to be a big deal to him after his playing days are over…shaking.my.head

    He deals with NBA players right now, and quite frankly he doesnt really act out of place. He is a stand up guy even if he is a loose cannon, pretty much everyone agrees OJ had it coming to him. Also this is 10-15 years from now we are talking about not immediatly, temperment tends to fade away with years and maturity.

    Also I dont think Travis Leslie has been watching Tony Alln play as of late. Tony Allen has been awesome for his team and a great reason why they made that run was the defensive effort they have gathered from their team.

     I think Haywood Workman is a ref now, but yeah, Workman wasn’t nearly as firey as Allen.
