RUDEBOY_Participantthey act like its the 1st time they’ve ever been on the floor at the same time..
it seems like they’ve never practice together as a team..the talent is there…
maybe someone needs to find Christine O’Donnell and ask that Witch to take that spell off them…

llperezObviously WAY TOO early in the season to come to any conclusions, but obviously some teams are not quite playing yet like some people thought on here. Clippers do not look like a playoff team. Knicks do not look like they had the great summer they had been waiting for for 2 years. Utah does not look like the number 1 contender for the lakers. Milwuakee has not yet played like a team that is a 50 win playoff lock.

LazarusMunozParticipantOnly two games in,but things are looking troubling! Besides DeAndre Jordans play there has been no bench. Foye is bad bad bad, dosent look to pass and will just dribble around most of the time…Baron Davis just isnt a leader and is regressing as a player. His Flucuating weight gain/lose looks to have finally caught up to him and it dosent help that he’s now 31!Kaman just looks lost and makes one bone head move after another
Positives…Even with Blake having a subpar game he still managed a double double…EJ isnt shooting well right now,but he’s attacking and getting to the rim with ease.He looks quicker and faster that last year
This team just has no chemistry whatso ever

cabbycabParticipantAny team led by Baron Davis is going no where fast. He was an exciting player to watch for the first few years in the league because of his brute strength and athleticism. However, his age and deterioration of his skills have shown his true worth: a player who continues to take bad shots at the most inopportune of times and has never shown the ability to make his teammates better. His one shining moment was his brief stint with the GSW ( my team ) where the team was essentially playing streetball.

sheltwon3ParticipantIt is too early but I remember when I said this could be a possibily based on the fact that Gooden came to the Clippers and put up close to the same numbers Griffin was projected to put up and they lost those games. Griffin can’t do it by himself and it would appear that Baron does not have it anymore. They lost to some young and upcoming teams though. Portland and GSW are looking really good right now. Ellis, Curry, Lee, Wright. Wow, Wright is showing how good he can be and he is still pretty young because he came out of high school. I like the team GSW has and I am glad Nelson is not around to screw it up.

IndianaBasketballParticipantLAC didn’t play well, but GSW was on fire. They weren’t even missing contested shots. They just played a great offensive game. Wright looks like a completely different player than he was in Miami.
Their defense was also on point too, which was surprising… IF they can play good defense consistently and stay healthy, this team could challenge for the 7th or 8th spot.
LAC on the other hand… They obviously have work to do. Their team defense is pathetic. I don’t think they understand rotations. Once a player gets beat off of the dribble, that’s a wide open layup… No defense at the rim whatsoever… Only players looking around with question marks. DeAndre Jordan does NOT understand rotations.
It’s only two games, but the Clippers just looked terrible on offense and defense. Their offensive sets and defensive schemes are garbage. Del Negro has a lot of work to do. And Griffin isn’t ready to be fed the ball in the post. No back to the basket game and he’s too slow down there. He needs to make quicker moves and stop letting the defense collapse on him. He’ll get it though…
And I don’t know how it’s possible, but Randy Foye and Ryan Gomes have already become my least favorite players in the entire NBA.

The Scare Crow ReturnsParticipantMan this is gonna sound brutal but…Any one think Blake can last a full season playing like that for the Cursed Clippers…I see a real bad injury coming by game 25…He and Gordon are the only bright spots and they both will be injured this year playing 2 against 5….Kaman has to go…Baron has to Go…And Harrison Barnes may be waiting to hear his name called by the Clippers come June…What a waste of a NBA franchise, please bring back the Seatle Super Sonics…I’d love to See Griifen and Gordon in Gold and Green…I bet Griffin can jump over the space needle…

IndianaBasketballParticipantThe Clippers just aren’t good… Period. And it starts with the two leaders… Baron Davis and Chris Kaman.
And I don’t know who to blame for the players looking confused on offense and defense. It’s like they’re just playing open gym out there.
This is a losing organization. The players expect to lose and they play like it. IF the NBA does decide to cut a team or two, the Clippers should be a prime candidate.

IndianaBasketballParticipantIt’s early, but I’ve been watching (painfully may I add) the Clippers since Gordon was a rookie and they suffer from the same problems now that they did then.
It doesn’t matter how much talent you bring into the organization. It’s just a losing team.
We won’t see a REAL change until it takes place at the top. Then it’ll trickle it’s way down. Sort of like Mark Cuban when he took over the Mavericks.

Im Your FatherParticipantIndiana Basketball is exactly right. In order to have a winning team, you need management that shows that they are committed to winning over the long hall. LA management has shown exactly the opposite.

IndianaBasketballParticipantDonald Sterling is THE WORST owner in professional sports. Anybody thinking his franchise is going to be any good is delusional. I don’t care how many times they play that "Rise" commerical. He’s just trying to dupe people into buying tickets.
They may make the playoffs some random year (like they did one year Elton Brand was there), but make no mistake… This will forever be a consistent losing organization. My only hope is that Griffin and Gordon are able to get out of there before it rubs off on them.

JNixonParticipantI heard somewhere that the Clippers practice facility isn’t open 24 hours because Sterling doesn’t want to pay a light bill at a higher cost. So basically the players can’t work on their games for however long they want because Sterling doesn’t want to pay the light bill for 24 hours. I found that to be pretty wild.

Their team needs to work on their efficiency, perimeter defense and ball movement; but it’s like they don’t know that. They think they need more scoring and athleticism.

marcusfizer21ParticipantI am starting a campaign of asking the Clippers to move the following players before they feel the curse…
Blake Griffin —– go to Detroit or someplace that really has a bright future for you… As long as Donald Stern is the owner, you are wasted…
DeAndre Jordan —- go with the Bulls..(lol) Derrick Rose-DeAndre Jordan combo would be a dream come true…
Eric Gordon —– The Pacers would LOOOOOVE to have you right now… You and Darren Collison could work out…
