Being the second best stage for showcasing basketball talent, the world cup of basketball is the best in bringing together all groups of people, its not about the pride of a city, or the pride of the company, its now about the Pride of the country!,

It is not an easy task to partake on this event, i may be biased because i’m a filipino but we went through a lot, moving mountains just to overcome all obstacles, surprising most teams from our dimunitative line-up, and relying on our speed and gunners. With also the help of our adopted american Marcus douthit, we sprung and finished 2nd behind Hamed Haddadi’s Iran team.

Now that the draws are in, we will be matching up against, Senegal, Greece, Argentina, Puerto Rico and Croatia. We were hoping to get bracketed with the USA, but lady luck havent shined upod us,

Now, we all know that USA is likely to win the cup, who do you think would be the other teams that could potentially beat the USA?

That Team USA gets the best talent available and bring their A-game to the world cup (no complacency during games), I don’t think any team is capable of beating them to be honest.

I’m Southamerican and I’d love to say Argentina could give a good fight. They had a great generation of players and now all of them are pretty old. Brazil could be a nice surprise if they bring their NBA bigs.

I don’t want to be a pain in the *** but… I really really don’t want the US to win this world cup so that all the great names show up for the next Olympics hehe…

We got a pretty favourable group. Should fight it out with Lithuania for the top spot. Dreaming of a top 4 finish. If Bogut and Exum Comitt But i think its doubtful.  Future looks good though with Jonah Bolden (UCLA comitt) and Ben Simmons (LSU Comitt)

so happy the Gilas are in, only thing i don’t like is that they are trying to nationalize JaVale McGee and Andray Blatche.

if these 2 are the future of the basketball in your country,  you are in trouble.
