Kahn should be saying he’s SORRY for
1.trading the team’s best player ..t-wolves are 1 of the least talented teams in the league..they could’ve gotten so much more for Jefferson..
2.drafting a guy at number that everyone will see after the season should’ve been a late lottery pick..
3.over paying for darko, a guy that has been a bust since he’s been in the league..and calling him your best starter…
4.not showing kevin love any respect..not making him feel wanted…

That being said, I think the Wolves have a better team than they did last season. Not that that’s saying a whole lot

I bet they get 23 wins.

The Wolves are loaded with young guys with a lot of talent. Talent and potential they have. A prayer of looking good the next year or two not so much. They could be much much much more accomplished and proven, but not that much more talented. Could be semantics though if I’m equating talent with athletic ability and potential and you are equating it with a proven NBA game.

“Could’ve have gotten so much more for Jefferson” and “not showing Kevin Love any respect” don’t really work together very well.

The entire league has been wary of Big Al since his knee injury. The Wolves benched KLove for the better part of a season to showcase Big Al. I can’t say what offers they received, but we can see what they ended up settling for. I’m sure the Wolves could have gotten some mediocre talent on bloated contracts back, but I’m not sure if that qualifies as “so much more”. Also it’s hard to show Love more respect than trading away your “best” player in a salary dump to free up a starting spot for him. They dump on him this year and keep him as a sixth man and I’ll join your bandwagon though.

Side note Rambis decides who starts and how many minutes people get per game Kahn just makes certain they are on the team and handles the money once they are off the rookie scale. Not sure what else Kahn can do to make Kevin feel loved.

Darko is hardly overpaid. He’s getting slightly below average for a 7 footer with mediocre to bad numbers. I’m fairly certain approx $4 million a year for your bad starting center is within reason.

Could be that Wesley Johnson is a bust. Can’t say yet, but we’ll see in approx 3 years. I will say this though every analysis I read had Wesley as the best SF in this draft class. Everyone. A lot of people here liked Paul George and he ran up the draft boards, but I didn’t hear anyone advocating him over Wesley Johnson. Truth is I liked Cousins better, but the Wolves weren’t biting. Probably best for everyone as a team as young and bad as the TWolves wouldn’t likely be an ideal environment for an immature Cousins to develop.

Kahn should be apologizing for talking too much and being a dill-hole, but trading Big Al, paying Darko $4 million/yr for 3 guaranteed years and drafting Wesley Johnson ….me thinks not.

They need to at least try to win this season. If they don’t, Rubio might not come over.

I think I saw an article that said that he said that he would come over if the Wolves are playing well.

It isn’t that anything in the ad is wrong, but it is foolish for any rebuilding team to make the statement that they are “a dominant player” away. Just about every also-ran is one dominant player away. Winning in the NBA is not about role players. Anyone and everyone can find nice role players. The accumulation of elite talents, “dominant player(s)” as he likes to call them, are the difference between the Lakers being one-and-done and going to the Finals in three straight years and winning twice.

The winners go after it. Kahn opened the door to questioning passing on DeMarcus Cousins. Is he waiting for the top pick with a gift-wrapped franchise player? Those guys don’t come along every year, and the lottery system prevents any lousy team from having the guarantee of getting him when he comes available. He knows what he is missing, but doesn’t seem to grasp that he has to be aggressive in getting it.

Heres an interesting thought what do the Wolves do if Jonny Flynn comes out and just has a fantastic season with averages of 17 and 7 or 15 and 8 or you get the gist and wins the most improved player award…I guarantee thats not a situation that Rubio wants to walk into…If he comes over he doesn’t wanna have to win the starting PG spot in training camp he will probably only come over if its handed to him.

im so happy we traded Jefferson! he is bad! 20 shots per game with 17 points…BAD! Wes Johnson is way UNDERRATED! i know his one-on-one skills arent the best. but at the least he will be a sharp shooter and a lock down defender. he is also a great rebounder and passer. so put that in your juice box and suck it RUDEBOY!

if we can improve by 2 wins each season we could be looking @ a playoff birth potentially in the year 2030. I can’t wait. Go T-Wolves. Maybe by then Rubio will be a T-Wolf and Darko will be the next Vlade Divac lol.

I can’t turn on my team. I’m just being a realist. I’m not gonna be one to say my T-Wolves are going head to the playoffs anytime soon. Kahn’s plan is to become a force once the new CBA commences, and if he isn’t trying to win now then I am going to be a realist and understand that we have no shot until we rob some real talent from teams who will eventually be in the red.

    WoW!!! yEAH Scarecrow ..
I have never seen him on here b4..
And dude calls me out!!! LMAO!!!

Let me look at dude’s name..Ok his name is Brace94..Brace94 must be a teenager..talking about Sucking a JuiceBox..

Dude mad becuz ..i said Wesley Johnson is waaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyy overrated…He should’ve been at the summer league game when T-Wolve coaching staff was yelling at Johnson to rotate on offense..and not hang around the 3 point line…Dude constantly was getting beat on defense by a guy in summer league..imagine what he’ll do when the season starts..
Brace94. talking about Wesley Johnson being a great defender..
That right there tells me you know nothing about Basketball…

And how can Wesley Johnson be a Lockdown defender when he only weighs 200lbs? lets see him stop Lebron,Dwight,Melo or Boozer..

President Obama would look like a great defender if he played in that 2-3 zone…

Wesley Johnson is a workout wonder where is NorthernLights at who told me it was a good idea to draft Wesley Johnson over Cousins and then trade for Martell Webster and Beasley both small forwards, well atleast Beasly will be on Minny then said the reason Kahn got all those small forwards was because the offense Rambis runs requires there 3 spot to be able to bring the ball up and guard multiple positions….True but how does that describe Johnson, Webster, or Beasley neither of them can bring the ball up and initiate an offense…I guess great minds think alike but I cant tell which side Im on….
