Noah is a couple years removed from an MVP caliber season, but regressed this past season. Is this guy worth 30 million a season? There where talks about him signing with the Timberwolves. Don’t think they should touch Noah at that price.

SeattleSuperChronicsParticipantAn mvp caliber season!?! Nope.

JordoParticipantthat report sounds fishy. They’re panicking because they lost Nene? Nene barely played. And if Gortat is your starting center with Morris playing the stretch 4 role where does Noah fit in at? I don’t believe it

BiggysmallsParticipantThe cap is going up 30%
So basically if the cap weren’t going up Noah would in line for a 4 year/90 million dollar deal? No chance in hell he’d be worth that.
He’s a couple years removed from an MVP caliber season sure, but he just missed 50 some games and averaged like 4 points in 18 minutes last year.
Yeah I can’t see this happening. The cap is going up but GMs can’t possibly be that dumb.

SubZeroParticipantIf this is true, I feel bad for John Wall. He’s my favorite player and as much as I like seeing him in a Wizards uniform, I wouldn’t blame him for leaving at all

BiggysmallsParticipantdidn’t Wall just sign an extension a year or two ago? Where’s he going to go?

SubZeroParticipantWhenever his contract ends, I’m sure some team out there will throw money at him that would be better for him than Washington has been
I’d have more faith in Chicago or Miami than I do in Washington at this point

TarHeelRavenParticipantLet’s be honest, Joakim Noah is worth nowhere near that much money. The Wizards have been lacking a post presence for years and this is their plan? To offer that much money to a 31 year old with a non-existent offensive game?? I feel for John Wall. The guy is a top PG in the league, has signed for a lot of money and the Wiz have done nothing to improve their help for him. Sad.
