knicksfreakParticipantThere have been trade conversations between the New York Knicks and Washington Wizards and Newsday reports the Wizards have inquired the most about Larry Hughes and Jared Jeffries.
Both players are former Wizards. They may also be seriously considering drafting Stephen Curry although they have said in the past that no one in this draft can immediately contribute.

OldSkoolBasketballParticipantIf you’re a knicks fan you would want those two out of NY. I never understand why you guys signed Jeffries.

NYK2010ParticipantIt would be great if they trade an expiring contract for Jeffries and draft Curry. Knicks don’t need to trade Hughes he’s fine for a year in NY esp. with Nate likely gone. This would free up more cap room for next year. I think they should try and buy a pick in the 1st round some teams looking to sell for money reasons or just have too many picks.

knicksfreakParticipantMe neither but he was a hot commodity at the time. The Indiana connection. I’d give him away.

NYK2010ParticipantJeffries another Isiah disaster just like the rest Marbury, Curry, Rose, Jerome James, Baker, Qrich, Francis, and giving up draft picks. People applaud his drafts but he passed on Rondo and Bynum for Balkman, Frye.

sheltwon3Participanta lot of people passed on Bynum and Frye was not a terrible pick. he is just so deep on Portland’s bench right now. A lot of people Rondo go and to be honest, at the time they were trying to make the Marbury thing work and it would have been bonkers had Rondo got drafted that year and also as I hear it Rondo is not easy to coach.

sheltwon3ParticipantIf New York can get something good and expiring they should get rid of Hughes. You will need Jeffries if Lee goes. Jeffries is nowhere as good but he is a big body which Knicks lack but I think they believe Gallinari can replace a lot of what Lee did if he is the focal point of the offense.
