ZachAttackParticipantSo, this new game we are playing… Choose who you think should have been the first pick in the 2012 NBA Draft and I will post the winner tomorrow. So let’s get rolling
With the first pick in the 2012 NBA Draft the New Orleans Hornets select…

Dazzling Dunks and Basketball BloopersParticipantIt’s obviously Davis but I’m confused. Are u planning on redoing 2012 over again are just the first pick from each draft.

ZachAttackParticipantRedoing just the first round of the 2012 Draft unless you guys want to do Round 2, but I assumed you guys wouldn’t.

mgreener_34ParticipantWe should have just gone strait to the #2 pick because Davis is as sure fire as it gets.

I do have a question though. Are we making these picks based on each team’s roster from 2012 or their current 2015-16 rosters.

ZachAttackParticipantWhatever you want honestly. It’d probably be better if you were basing it off of needs in 2012 but if you can’t remember back then, then you can just go with team needs now.
You don’t need to put too much thought in it.

OhCanada-ParticipantI pick Beal 2nd to play with Kemba. Would’ve been a good choice in hindsight. Really covers his lack of shooting and could help him and Jefferson easily recover late in the shotclock on broken plays. The team needed shooters especially with Biyambo getting picked last year as well!
Barnes would have worked here as well and was who I slotted into my mockdraft. Would’ve been perfect UNC guy picked by a UNC guy Jordan picked by Charlotte.

JR RyderParticipant2) Charlotte – Damian Lillard (this slides Kemba Walker to either a 6th man role or have the two guards start as a small but quick backcourt)
3) Washington – Brad Beal (Wall and Beal has proven to be a good fit for each other)
4) Cleveland – Andre Drummond
5) Kings – Draymond Green
6) Portland – Tony Wroten
7) Warriors – Harrison Barnes
8) Raptors – Khris Middleton
9) Detroit – Terrence Ross
10) Hornets – Jered Sullinger

WinterSoldierParticipant2. Charlotte- Drummond (they didn’t sign Jefferson yet and needed a good big man.)
3. Washington- Beal (best fit)
4. Cleveland- Middleton (His ability to play the 2/3 makes him the best fit)
5. Sacramento- Lillard (best player, best fit)
6. Portland- Green
7. Golden State- Barnes
8. Toronto- Wroten
9. Detroit- Ross
10.New Orleans- Leonard

ZachAttackParticipantYou’re supposed to play the game one pick at a time. Both of you guys, I’m assuming, picked Anthony Davis for #1 and the rest of your picks on this single forum aren’t going to be counted in the next pick.
