dmo21ParticipantBack court of the future with Lawson and DeRozan. Kahn knew it was a point guard draft, he picked 1 right one, 1 wrong one, and traded another good one away. Can’t have Tyreke or Rubio over Lawson as you can’t have a none shooter beside DeRozan.

Stephen A. BaylessParticipantThe Wolves may be tempted to make the same moves again, if they know it means they’ll end up with Wiggins and Towns.

ExumInfernoParticipantHoliday and DeRozan.
Evans and DeRozan with size in the backcourt sounds good, but not enough outside shooting. Lawson, Jennings, Rubio, they don’t have the shooting, size and defense that Jrue has.
DeRozan is someone who can be given the ball and he will score, W Matthews and D Green can play his position but are pieces of a better team, not able to score as a primary option.
The T-Wolves obviously wanted guards that draft, so they get two good guards here.

SubZeroParticipantThe only reason I didn’t say Jrue is because he’s been injured so much the past couple years. Otherwise, I would’ve chosen him 4th easily

Stephen A. BaylessParticipantThe Wolves drafted Love & Pek in 2008 and still had Al Jefferson. That’s 3 of the best scoring big men in the league, but all are terrible defenders. The Wolves have to target Defense, shooting, and playmaking with these two picks.
Derozen is 0 for 3, and maybe I’m underrating him a bit at this point but he’s a volume shooter that can’t shoot, average rebounder and playmaker and subpar on defense despite his athleticism. Him and Love together seems too wacky and Love is obviously the better player.
Rubio was special the 2nd half of 2013-14 racking up triple doubles and being disruptive on defense. Healthy Wes Matthews is a better option next to Rubio because he provides a bit more well-rounded offensive game but I don’t know how to rate him coming off his injury. With Green, I’m getting elite volume 3pt shooting and All-NBA caliber defense.
