With the 87th pick in the Ultimate NBA Re-Draft, the Phoenix Suns select Bob Lanier!!!

With the 88th pick in the Ultimate NBA Re-Draft, the Boston Celtics select… Dennis Johnson!!!

    docs.google.com/document/d/1casHMxXTupoimdrA_bSoZPW5djfv2F4eGr0-xofuEDc/edit

We are going to do all 4 picks in a row since they are the same team.

Also, everyone please play the 2016 NBA Pre-Draft game, here is the link to sign up.

    http://www.nbadraft.net/forum/2nd-annual-2016-nba-pre-draft-game

So play that game too… It was really fun last year!!!

The Lakers are now on the clock. Their roster consists of: Rick Barry and Patrick Ewing

The Spurs are now on the clock. Their roster consists of: Arvydas Sabonis and John Havlicek.

    GO!!!

PS this was really difficult without knowing who will still be available, especially by that last pick – without knowing who the lakers get with their first pick, it’s hard to know who to choose with the second!

     Ok!

lakers: i go paul george to put a second great shooter around ewing

spurs: need scoring – i go dolph schayes (12x 1st and 2nd team) and dave bing (top tier guard) if schayes isnt available, i go james worthy, if bing isnt available, i go paul george

lakers: kinda depends on who they get first time and who is available – i take james worthy if available, if not, chauncey billups

Sidney Moncrief, Dave Bing, Bobby Jones, Paul George. Moncrief can be a 1 or a 2, George can play 2-4.

Not a lot of elite 2 guards, kind of need those to compete with the teams with Kobe and MJ so I’m going there my first two picks

Lakers: David Thompson. Don’t know how he hasn’t been picked yet. Best two guard in the NBA for awhile, precursor to MJ Kobe and Wade. Amazing scorer would fit in well with Barry’s Point forward ability.

Spurs: Sam Jones. Second best two guard of his era (behind only Jerry West). Can go with less shooting here because Arvydas can stretch the floor from the center position.

Spurs: Penny Hardaway. I have no idea how he is still available, an absolute terror in the NBA and creates an amazing backcourt with Sam Jones moving Havlicek to the 3.

Lakers: James Worthy. Big game James returns home to L.A. to run the wings with David Thompson in a devastating Rick-Barry led fastbreak.

This 4 picks thing is going to be difficult, but here we go.

    Lakers #1: Lucas

    San Antonio #1: Dandridge

San Antonio #2: Dandridge, Wilkes, George (in that order)

Lakers #2: Lucas, Earl Monroe, Griffin (in that order)

    Hope that’s understandable.

Lakers – Penny Hardaway, tall PG who could do it all when healthy.

Spurs – Dave Bing, the best PG left on the board. 7 time All-Star, averaged 20.3 PPG and 6 APG for career.

Spurs – Vince Carter, high scoring, high flying SG to fill up the scoreboard and shoot threes.

Lakers – Dennis Rodman. An Amazing rebounder, defender and winner.
