ZachAttackParticipantWith the 5th pick in the Ultimate NBA Re-Draft, the Toronto Raptors select… Larry Bird out of Indiana State!!!
Results:
Bird: 14
Shaq: 8
Russell: 2
Bryant, Wilt, and Olajuwan: 1So… in order to make this draft not take 150 days, we are going to do two picks at a time. So, to make this easiest on me and probably a lot of you especially for me to count the votes, we will just vote two players not in any specific order…
Example: Shaq, Russell.
So, no voting order, and then the two people with the most votes will be the 6th and 7th pick.
Draft so far:
Clippers – Michael Jordan
T-Wolves – Magic Johnson
Grizzlies – Abdul-Jabbar
Nets – Lebron James
Raptors – Larry BirdThe Hornets and Wizards are now on the clock.

CanadianGMParticipantI second that. I was debating whether to go the Duncan/Russell less flashy route but Shaquille and Wilt were simply dominant.

mamadouParticipantShaq and Timothey didn’t played in a 50 mens league, they dominated, they won, we saw them, we saw the 3 decades from Duncan, 1100+ wins.
Shaq for the hornets(mourning/kobe), Duncan for the Bullets(they tried juwan, C-webb and Sheed, he was, he is the real deal).

Magic JordanParticipantIn true Hornets fashion they would probably choose the most decorated College player… in this case they would choose Russell and that would be a mistake as I have stated multiple times how I don’t think he would be nearly as praised if he was playing in the league against more than 8 teams.
But he makes sense from a Hornets standpoint based off of what they do in the draft.
Shaq is obviously up for the Wizards and they get a steal!

OhCanada-ParticipantI’ll take Wilt the Stilt and the Big Fundamentals.
It’s hard to argue with the Chamberlain puck there is still a large following that believes he is the greatest player ever. At the very least he is the greatest rebounder ever so my team is going to always win rebounding battles with him and thus gain extra possessions while still staying dominant offensively like it would with a Shaq, Kareem, Hakeem, Duncan or Garnett.
Tim Duncan is solely a reflection of how I would want my team to conduct itself on and off the court. He has a championship pedigree ingrained into his lifestyle which definitely reflects onto his teammates. He may not be as dominant as Shaq or as skilled has Olajauwon but I would build my team around him first knowing that he would always guide my team to success and settle for nothing but rings. He is also extremely dominant on both ends.
Shaq is amazing and arguably a better player than both of these guys but he is too much of a tabloid feature and always needs the spotlight.

r377ParticipantTeam Chemistry is important aswell as how they conduct themselves off court. For that reason I will be dropping following players lower – Shaq, Melo, Kobe, Iverson, Harden, Howard, Cousins etc
