Well… that’s it for the second round. Good going everyone! Let’s keep up the votes, they are slowly rising with 16 votes for these last picks. So keep it up!
Just a little stat: There were 9 current players drafted in the first two rounds. Just for those who wanted to know…
Anyways, more team building which requires more strategy now so this should be fun. So let’s go!
The Clippers are now on the clock. Their roster consists of: Michael Jordan and Willis Reed
The Timberwolves are now on the clock. Their Roster consists of: Magic Johnson and Bob McAdoo.

pauliverson34ParticipantClippers: Alonzo Mourning; the one thing me for reed is in this eilite draft he doesn’t protect the rim.
Mourning makes up for that as one of the greatest rim protectors ever, and a great fit with Jordan (work ethic, intesnity someone jordan would respect).
Wolves: carter is the perfect fit for showtime, and way more durable than Thompson. (there is a very good reason walton is still on the board).

Robb_CParticipantGo look at David Thompsons Stats.. Bill Walton and David Thompsons situations are different.. Do me a favor and look up David Thompson stats.. He average close to 25 a game for 6 seasons played 10 and still finshed with 22 pts average.. David Thompson still produced just not at the steam train level he entered the league with

dmo21ParticipantCarter also had around 6 seasons of averaging around 25 points per game through the his 18 years. His longevity drops his career averages. Yet, Carter has higher career averages for rebounds, assists and steals compared to Thompson.

Robb_CParticipantYa Carter averaged 25 a game chucking up more shot attempts and a lower FG percentage than Thompson who averaged 505 his entire career, Carter wasnt nearly as efficent as Thompson offensively.. He just chucked more attempts.. Also these guys have very close averages in Rb, ast and stl.. Yes Carter has the slight edge but Thompson was way more efficent as a guard.. A career average of 505 for a guard?! Thats incredible for a 9 year career.

dmo21ParticipantClippers: Hardaway (a point guard who can shoot is great beside MJ).
Minnesota: Carmelo (will need shooting on the wing with Magic at point guard).

morestealsthanscoresParticipantWith Jordan, I’m gonna take a scarcity pick – there’s loads of great power forwards left, but because the 3 point line has only increased so much in importance in the last few years, there aren’t that many great 3&D guys. That’s why I’m going to pick Paul George – a pick that will either look great or awful in five years time!
With magic and bob – mvp dave cowens – three mvps on one team, all of whom can score, rebound, and switch defensively. PLEASE, EVERYONE VOTE FOR DAVE COWENS AND MAKE THIS HAPPEN.
