With the 50th pick in the Ultimate NBA Re-Draft, the New Orleans Pelicans select… Dikembe Mutombo out of Georgetown!!!

The Warriors are now on the clock… Their roster consists of Kobe Bryant.
The Kings are now on the clock… Their roster consists of Tim Duncan.

Warriors: Willis reed – the best 5 man available and a fiery competitor. A perfect fit for Kobe.
Kings: I think Tiny Archibald is probably the best PG left on the board, but I think that Kawhi Leonard complements TDs game so well on both ends of the floor – I would have loved to see peak Timmy and peak Kawhi play together. I pick Leonard.

For anyone that’s counting: we’re into the 50s now, and we still have 7 MVPs left on the board: Cousy, reed, cowens, mcadoo, unseld, Walton and rose. Obviously some of these dudes had injury shortened careers, but that’s 7 guys that were considered ‘the most valuable player in the world’ at the peak of their careers…worth thinking about!
