    With the second pick in the 2009 NBA Re-Draft, the Memphis Grizzlies select… James Harden!

    The Results:
    Harden: 8
    Griffin: 7
    Matthews: 1
    Thabeet: 1
    Casspi: 1

    The Draft goes as follows:

    1. Stephen Curry – Clippers
    2. James Harden – Grizzlies

     This almost works out perfectly for the Thunder. They have their franchise PG and SF in Westbrook and Durant and then they get the local legend in Blake Griffin to give them a franchise big man. This might have slowed down Ibaka’s development though.

     Blake Griffin is the best and obvious choice. He played college ball at Oklahoma and it would keep him in Oklahoma. Ibaka would play the 5, with Griffin at the 3. Ibaka would be a better fit because he is a better floor spacer than DeAndre Jordan.
