dbeal21ParticipantEarly second round pick for the rebuilding Lakers, Think they have decent players at ever spot but center so they can try to take one of the best centers on the board, I go with Zimmerman, Hammons, ad Stone.

In my opinion in the second round you don’t draft to fill a need but to find a talented player who could be considered a steal and in my opinion the three players mentioned above could enter that category

jabbar_medvedenkoParticipantPaul Zipser, Gary Payton II, Danuel House. Already have Tarick Black and Larry Nance Jr. as backup bigs with Randle as a starting PF.

Dazzling Dunks and Basketball BloopersParticipantI like Zimmerman here. Lakers badly need a center and Zimmerman has the most upside of the players left on the board at that position. Not the best player left but makes the most sense from a fit perspective.
Second choice would be Hammons. Third choice would be qi

sweaterflexParticipantThe Lakers should look at LeVert, Zimmerman, or Stone. Randle’s presence requieres extra floor-spacing, which LeVert (and potentially Zimmerman) could provide. Stone could develop in to an Enes Kanter-lite second unit mauler.

I CALLED GAMEParticipantI have Zimmerman here, but look out for; Stone, Payton II, Hammons, Bentil, Qi, & Ellis, these players all could be in play for this pick.

Magic JordanParticipantZhou Qi and it should be a no brainer. He does everything the Lakers need. He can spread the floor, protect the rim. Yeah he will probably get killed in the P n R but he’s not exactly a lumbering big man. Put him next to an elite rebounder like Randle and it is an ideal fit.
This would be my drea pick at 32, however I think there is very little chance that he is still around at number 32.

As a fan, I’m hoping Maker falls to 32 (way unlike)) or Luwawu. There’s a rumor Qi is 25. Eek.
