Like I said before, you don’t even need an explanation for your pick. You can simply just say… “Wade and Ewing” that is ALL we need. Let’s keep the draft going, it’s not going to be fun having 6 people vote for the final rounds. Let’s keep it up!

Rick Barry – IMO the most underrated player in NBA history and the second greatest to not win an MVP award. Averaged 35.6 PPG as a 22 year old sophomore for the Warriors, missed the next year due to a contract squabble, dominated the next 4 years in the ABA despite dealing with multiple knee ligament issues. Started playing again in the NBA in 1973 and within 3 years was back to averaging 30 PPG as he led Golden State to yjeir first championship. Completely transformed his game as knee injuries took their toll, becoming more of a perimter shooter and passer. His career numbers are comparable to any wing that has ever played the game, made 5 All-NBA first teams and 4 All-ABA first teams

John Havlicek – The Celtics get one of their most iconic players. Scottie Pippen before Pippen, he was the ultimate winner, who was a dominant wing defender, while handling the ball, scoring and rebounding at a high level as well. In his prime his stats were at a Lebron/Bird level.

I feel like Jerry West is the consensus choice for greatest to never win MVP.

although the board from here gets very interesting (and confused) – how do you compare the careers of these modern day guys to old-timers? what about guys that maybe haven’t even reached their peak yet, like leonard, George…or even towns, or even simmons/ingram?!? how much do championships count?ahahrshsrh so confusing
