I think the Pacers take Malachi Richardson. I expect Baldwin to be better, but I think they want a pure wing.

I like luwawu here for the same reasons I said in the previous pick. I love his potential on both sides of the ball and think he could be a steal at this spot. I’m not even that worried about fit at this point.

im kinda stuck now deciding between wade baldwin or patrick mccaw. one could be an eventual replacement for george hill, entering the final year of his contract, the other can be a replacement for ellis, turning 31 when next season begins but has a team friendly deal for at least 2 more seasons.

im gona go with mccaw since the pacers want to intentionally get faster and thats one of his bigger strengths.

Ben Bentil – Larry wants to play small-ball and Bentil is the perfect player to step into that role.

I wouldn’t mind a guard, but with Hill, Ellis, Stuckey, Miles and Young already on the roster there isn’t really a need.

     Timothe Luwawu.

BPA at this point IMO. Good length, athleticism, and 3pt shooting potential. If he can become the stopper most think he can, he can take a lot of pressure off George to cover the opponent’s best scorer all the time, and allow for some more frequent switching on that side of the ball.

Wade Baldwin. I have said in recent posts that he shot over 40% from 3 both seasons at Vanderbilt, he is a big combo guard that is young which Larry would love to add. Had the 2nd fastest agility lane test at the combine which fits perfectly with wanting to play faster so IMO he would be a major steal at 20.

Wade Baldwin. The backcourt of George Hill, Monta Ellis really needs some help and struggled with consistency. Baldwin seems like a great combo gaurd and could really develop his game learning from those two. Whichever way they want to develop him those are two great examples. Stay at home knockdown shooter and defender like George Hill or as a high usage ISO and off the ball scorer like Monta.

I almost went with Baldwin here, but based on Nate McMillan’s hard-nosed, old-school kind of demeanor, I feel like he’s going to fall in love with Demetrius Jackson.

Actually  that’s the exact reason I picked Baldwin. He was one of the innovators in today’s position less NBA. That 50 win Seattle team had combos like Rashard Lewis, Vlad Radmonovic, Antonio Daniels and Flip Murray.

I say they reach and take Wade Baldwin. They need a backup PG and someone who can replace Hill, he’s declining like crazy. Not the BPA but it’s a need.

Timothe Luwawu. BPA and player that could fit very well with this Pacer’s roster and a potential to become an excellent 3 and D player in the future.

Brice Johnson is my choice, he’s a senior so is perhaps a bit more NBA ready than other guys and his extra maturity would be the sort of thing the Pacers brainstrust would like.

Tempted to say Baldwin here or even Whitehead… but I think they will go Diallo assuming Johnson is gone already in the actual. Esp with George going back to sf.

Diallo has the highest motor of any big left on this board.

    Luwawu all day.

I like Baldwin a lot(lotto for me) but his actual skill set is too similar/redundant with George Hill.

They have quantity at SG/SF but they lack quality behind PG.

Luwawu could be to Paul george, what george was to Granger.

All around game, and another facilitator is always needed when your "PG" is Hill, stephenson was that guy,  Monta should be more of a 6th men instant offense at that point in his career.
