I’d go with luwawu here. Not for any particular reason other than I think he has too much potential to pass up at this point. I actually think he could go much earlier than this.

i’ll vote for demitrius jackson. the nuggets need additional depth at the 1 spot, they used foye there when emanuel and jameer both went down with injuries last season. after using their lotto pick on the young and raw mudiaye last year, i believe its a good compliement of adding a more college seasoned prospect.

Timothe Luwawu is my pick here but I think they should trade this pick as they already have so much depth on this team. They don’t need 3 first rounders

We got the nuggets taking a point (Dunn) and a big (Thon Maker)so I’m going with a wing in Luwawu.

oh yeah, i dint notice at all that dunn went to the nuggets already, my pick is way off. i agree that getting a wing would be most logical here. if i can still change my vote id go with Korkmaz

I think this may be a good spot for Furkan Korkmaz.

Honestly, I have a hard time getting a read on the Nuggets.  Mudiay seemed to have a pretty rough rookie season, but I feel like they pretty much have to move forwards with him as a core guy for now, so that takes someone like Baldwin off the board (even though I think he’d be great value at this point in the draft).  I like Nurkic and Jokic though.  Anyways, seems like a pure shooting guard like Kork might be good here.

It’s a tough choice between him and Luwawu but I really like Furkan. I think his offensive game is a little more advanced.

    Furkan Korkmaz.

The offensive upside tips it in favor of Furkan over Luwawu, plus there’s rumblings that Luwawu would come over right away, and with 3 1sts..the Nuggs are likely to take someone they can leave overseas for a bit.

Furkan for sure is my pick, I highly doubt the Euro guys fall this far but if they do one would definitely get picked here.

Furkan Korkmaz. The Nuggets could use some additional depth help on the wing for the future. Korkmaz reminds me of Evan Fournier which the Nuggets had and most likely should have kept.

as a nuggs fan, i want malachi richardson. but given we drafted dunn and makor; i think korkmaz makes the most sense.  i think he has buyout clauses this year and next.  give him another year overseas and may be move barton or harris when he’s ready.

Wow this mock is so far from how the draft will actually go I am questioning the age of some of our participants.

Nuggets took Dunn early and Maker already in this game … and although I don’t believe in a billion lifetimes that is who they would have picked, lets say they did just for &$#%#&@! and giggles.

They now have 2 legit athletic pg and a longterm project big. Might as well think they go with a center with that logic since they don’y need one at all.

So; I am going with Gracin Bakumanya ,The new wonder of the Antibes. After all neither of the earlier picks make any sense for Denver and if they draft that poorly they would’nt hesitate on this prospect in the first round.

fran frascilla just crapped his pants harder than when toronto drafted bruno cabloco.

"bakumanya is 3 years away from being 3 years away, trumping bruno cabloco’s assessment by 2 years." were fran’s last words before his head exploded.

Lets compare your final to this final mock. That’s why drafts are fun aren’t they? Because nobody knows what is going to happen.

True ,but this mock is pretty out of control.

Hard for me to see it going like it has played out

At least you realize unlike the previous reply that my selection was intentionally improbable

I don’t think Korkmaz will last this long but in this sinario Korkmaz would be my pick. Keeping him over seas would be a possibility, considering they probably won’t want 3 rookies all at once on the team.

Korkmaz here for me too… Too much potential to pass up on him. But I really doubt he falls this far on draft night, I think the Jazz take him before Valentine, but I could be wrong.

I agree the Jazz should take him before Valentine and maybe as their top choice as a wing. Who do you think the Jazz should take at 12?  I think the Jazz need a 5 that can shoot, rim protect, rebound & maybe be able to play 5 & 4. OR a top notch shooter/ wing, Korkmaz could fill that spot or Maker, Skal, Ellenson ( probably not available), Chris’s ( probably not available), or maybe Poeltl (5) if available.  Maker & Skal have high potential but could be higher risk to bust,  Considering that the top 10 on most mocks won’t be available I’d take Maker 1st ( I the Jazz have a good core , I think they can take a chance on a player with high potential but he may take time to develop) and then probably Korkmaz, good shooter good size for a 2, can even play alittle 1. What’s your top few you’d like to see the Jazz take?

I’d like Maker first. The potential there is ridiculously high, and we could have the top Center group in the NBA with Maker and Gobert. Next, I really like Beasley, the Jazz need a sharp shooter and I think that he, Shelvin Mack, and Alec Burks could run the second unit of the Jazz really well. Korkmaz is too much of an unknown for me, From highlight reels, I really like him, but I haven’t seen enough.

Anyways, with Maker the Jazz second unit should look like Mack, Burks, Ingles, Lyles, and Maker… That’d be a pretty scary second unit…

So overall, 1. Maker 2. Beasley 3. Korkmaz.

I agree with your comments about Maker, I don’t understand why we’re not hearing more about Maker. If the Jazz could I’d like to see them trade down a little and get Maker, I personally would take him at 12 but for some reason many think that’s too high for him , not sure why.

Came down to Malachi Richardson & Furkan Korkmaz, but I think based on this mock, they’ll go with Korkmaz. The Nuggets have proven to be very good at identifying and developing international talent. He has nice upside for the 19th spot

I think I like Luwawu’s upside more, but I’ll go Furkan Korkmaz so they can leave him over for a year and not have to make room for 3 1st round rookies.

I’d be surprised if they didn’t trade one of these picks, though
