The Timberwolves still need a lead guard to take over for the 5th oldest player in the NBA, Mike Conley. I’m not sure how Dillingham has been developing but the Timberwolves have been one of the few NBA teams to successfully develop their young talent in recent memory so I don’t think he’s a lost cause. Clifford can in theory still be a point guard for this team while offering enough versatility to play on the court with Dillingham and Shannon which will allow them all to in theory develop into a fitting role.

Almost an hour count down til’ pick 18, we’re at a dead heat between Traore and Clifford… Looks like nobody has a tie breaker in mind, so we go to Rookiescale for the tie breaker… as of now, Rookiescale has Clifford 19th on their consensus big board while Traore is at 20… just one slot away. Tie breaker is Nique Clifford if nothing changes within this hour…
