bt102ParticipantThis is a tough one. They could use some bench help. The 2 best available guys are Kira Lewis and Tyrell Terry. Terry is also from Minnesota keep that in mind. However I think there is a legitimate chance that Kira ends up being the 3rd best PG in this class. I like Terry a lot, I don’t like the fit in Minnesota. He’s not an above average passer. Kira is a better passer and better defender, he’s bigger. To me it’s Kira Lewis because of fit.

dmo21ParticipantI think this is where things get tricky. You have some good guards available in Lewis, Maxey and Terry but Minny just drafted Edwards and traded for Russell. They also still have Culver, last years first round pick, and could resign Beasley. So the need for a guard isn’t really there, even though I’m a fan of BPA drafting. But are the forwards on the board (Achiuwa, McDaniels) that much of a drop behind those guards? I don’t think so, so that’s why I’m aiming a bit more for fit here. I’m not an Achiuwa fan, but it seems like he’ll go mid-first. This is actually a pretty good fit for him as he can do the dirty work and KAT spreads the floor. So Achiuwa is my choice here.

OhCanada-ParticipantBeasley got charged with something. On that same topic so did Terrence Davis. Not sure about Beasley’s situation but things don’t look good for Davis. Domestic assault, destruction of property, child abuse…

dmo21ParticipantI heard that. If Davis is guilty of it, I see them getting rid of him swiftly. This is the same ownership that has the Jays who shipped off their young star closer for a similar accusation.

bt102ParticipantYeah. I think with Beasley it’s going to be real interesting to see what offer he gets. I’m actually surprised I didn’t see Precious going here. He probably will by the looks of it. My problem is he shot like 49% from the field. He’s 21, and he thinks he’s a wing when he’s not. His best role is probably an energy big, and in a place like Minnesota, I’m not sure he learns that he is an energy big in time. I think this would be a dreadful pick for Minny.

FrozetoesParticipantPrecious Achiuwa, it’s who I have them taking in my mock, but, it would be hard to pass on Lewis. Their back-up is Jordan McLaughlin, man is he an exciting and productive player. Achiuwa fills a need at PF and hopefully would add some much needed athleticism and defense to help cover Towns weakness on D.

OhCanada-ParticipantAchiuwa. Mcdaniels and Bey also get a good look here. They may also want to go with the hometown guys Nnaji and Oturo but they already have a backup C with a very bright future with Naz Reid.

Dazzling Dunks and Basketball BloopersParticipantI could see them going with another point guard. They don’t really have another primary ball handler besides. Russell and I’m not convinced Jordan mcglauthlin is the long-term answer. Lewis or terry are strong possibilities.
However, this team is also badly in need of a defensive minded front court player to play with towns. Achuiwa is raw but at least projects as a versatile defensive presence. I’ll go with precious as the pick here.0 - Posted on: Mon, 11/02/2020 - 10:14am #1242305

RUDEBOY-ParticipantPrecious is my choice here, he seems like the perfect compliment to KAT! Even though I believe this pick gets traded.
