Noah Clowney. Hawks need defense and Noah Clowney contests about every shot, causing his opponents to have bad shooting outputs. He’s what they need imo.

Hawks are in a weird spot, they definitely need defense and they have ‘good enough’ players at every position. I would have BPA as Brice, Jett, or Dariq for their upside, but they all overlap to some degree with AJG, who should be a long term keeper. This is a good landing spot for Jordan Hawkins, who can play off of either Murray or Young off ball and defends better than the ‘higher upside’ options.

Amari Bailey – has the outlook of a high level two way combo guard in the making, and with Atlanta looking to trade Trea Young it’s a pick that make sense… Reminds me Byron Scott

Changing my pick to Nick Smith here. He’s who I picked in my mock and I think this would be a great place for him to slowly learn behind two of the leagues best guards. while still being able to contribute off the bench. Also if the Trae Young trade rumors are true (which they aren’t) he is insurance for either guard, Trae or Dejounte.
