With the 139th pick in the Ultimate NBA Re-Draft, the Milwaukee Bucks select… Bill Sharman!!!

With the 140th pick in the Ultimate NBA Re-Draft, the Houston Rockets select… Paul Arizin!!!

Now that draft season is mostly over we will continue the game. Let’s end it strong!!! We’ll have even more fun when we get to the team vs team games! So don’t leave yet all you regulars. Also, I want your opinion, do we want to have a coaches draft or do we want to just not worry about coaches? Let me know and majority wins! Also for any other ideas for the game. Let me know!!!

Once again, thanks to all those who are playing still. I know it’s been long since I’ve done one, just don’t leave

The Heat are now on the clock. Their roster consists of: Isaiah Thomas, Clyde Drexler, Jerry Lucas, and Walt Bellamy

The 76ers are now on the clock. Their roster consists of: Allen Iverson, Reggie Miller, Jeff Hornacek, and Pau Gasol… Possibly the greatest shoting lineup of all time.

    GO!!!

The Heat take Detlef Schrempf, pushing Drexler to the 2, the Sixers take Elton Brand, providing some rim protection and keeping Gasol at the 5.

Miami: Gus Johnson (easily the best player available. Can play SF or PF. Super athletic and can do it all).

Philadelphia: Johnson (would play the 4 with Pau moving to the 5, having him with a bunch of shooters would be good too) or Sikma (go big with a good defensive/passing/shooting duo of Sikma and Pau.

Been a little while since we’ve done this so a little primer for everybody on who’s still available.

Like the posters above me I’m also going to push Drexler to SG, but I’m going to go for a defensive specialist with that team and pick Bruce Bowen to lock down opposing wings and hit the occasional three pointer.

76ers with possibly the greatest shooting lineup of all-time decide to continue on that route and grab Jack Sikma to play center and push Gasol to PF. Sikma was a terrific shooting big man but also a very good rebounder and a good overall defender despite not being much of shot blocker.

Heat – Jerry Sloan. They’d have a rough defensive backcourt with him and Thomas

Sixers – Karl Anthony Towns he’d stretch the floor really well and give the 76ers a really good shooting lineup.

No, none of them left. I think these are the only Hall of Fame players left who played at a high level from the 60s on, who made the HOF primarily for their achievements in the NBA or ABA:

      G

      Gail Goodrich

      JoJo English

      Calvin Murphy

      Louie Dampier

      Richie Guerin

      Roger Brown

      Guy Rodgers

      KC Jones

      F

      Connie Hawkins

      Spencer Haywood

      Jack Twyman

      Gus Johnson

      Chet Walker

      Tom Heinsohn

      Bailey Howell

      Cliff Hagan

      Dan Issel

      Mel Daniels

      Zelmo Beatty
