With the 109th pick in the Ultimate NBA Re-Draft, the Denver Nuggets select… Dolph Schayes!!!

With the 110th pick in the Ultimate NBA Re-Draft, the New Orleans Pelicans select.. Earl Monroe!!!

    docs.google.com/document/d/1casHMxXTupoimdrA_bSoZPW5djfv2F4eGr0-xofuEDc/edit

After receiving votes as early as mid-second round, Dolph Schayes is finally off the board! However, only 11 votes out there, I know there are more people than that that read this, so vote everyone!

The Warriors are now on the clock. Their roster consists of: Kobe Bryant, Anthony Davis, and Yao Ming

The Kings are now on the clock. Their roster consists of: Ray Allen, Grant Hill, and Tim Duncan.

    GO!!!

Warriors have two bigs, so they can use a scoring small forward. Here is a name that hasn’t come up yet. 50th Anniversary All Time NBA team, HOF, 10x all-star, 3x all NBA first team, 22.8 ppg, 8.6 rpg. Paul Arizan

    Kings take Maurice Stokes

Golden State: PG, would make these warriors more deadly then the splash brothers! got to go with the majority vote!

Kings: I like M. Cheeks for the defense, and better shot compared to Rondo.

I think the Warriors need a point guard. I am taking Mark Price here.

The Kings need a PF/C next to Timmy who can rebound and shoot from space in the mid range. I was leaning towards Rik Smits, but in the end I am taking Neil Johnston.

Jack Sikma and Bill Laimbeer would also seem like great choices as rebounding centers who can stretch the floor. I was funnily enough considering Cousins here. He’s got a very polished face up game, is a terrific rebounder and a good passer. But most importantly TDs personality would be absolutely perfect for complimenting Cousins. It would be like Yin and Yang.

Kings- Chauncey is a perfect fit. I didn’t see him taken, but I haven’t seen anyone else choose him so did I miss something?

Golden State: Wilkes (wing defender that doesn’t have to be a focus of the scoring as they have Kobe, AD and Yao)

Sacramento: Mel Daniels (dark horse pick here, but it seems like Duncan plays better when he’s with a center that focuses on rebounding and shot blocking. Daniels career averages are 18 ppg, 15 rpg and 2 bpg.)

Yeah, I’m pretty surprised Billups is still on the board.

Warriors: Billy Cunningham, one of the most overlooked players in NBA history. The Kangaroo Kid was known for his athleticism and had a polished all around game.  Was a terrific scorer, rebounder and passer and made 4 NBA All-Star teams (and 3 All-NBA first teams) while also dominating in the ABA for two seasons.

    Kings: Billups

I actually don’t have Billups rated that high. He was never really a star player, and only won anything or became on an all-star while playing on one of the best “teams” ever. I got guys like Michael Ray Richardson, Wilkins, Steve Franchise, Cheeks, Nixon, D-Will and Mookie Blaylock above him.

That’s a pretty strange argument, most of the players you named were never really star players either, and many of the greatest players in NBA history only won anything or became All-Stars while playing on great teams…For the record Billups also made two All-Star teams with the Nuggets which was hardly one of the best "teams" ever.

But most of these other guys have better or comparable stats to Billups. My main point (which didn’t really come across), is that it’s not like Billups is a unaminous choice right now. There’s a bunch of point guards at his level that are still available.
