Magic take Ben Wallace. This would make them one of the best, if not the best defensive team in this league.

Pistons take Hal Greer to take over SG, one of the best players available at this point, he’s a great fit and his size shouldn’t be a problem with The Glove capable of locking down opposing SGs.

There’s a few great players still available, especially at PF. As good as Kemp was, at this point in the draft PFs with superior all-around games are probably better for filling out squads that already have first and second options on offense.

Keep in mind that HOFers like Dave Debusschere, Dolph Schayes, Spencer Haywood, Tom Heinsohn and Connie Hawkins are still available. And if you’re looking for more modern players guys like Rasheed Wallace, Buck Williams, Larry Nance, Bobby Jones and Draymond Green offer better defense along with more versatile offensive games.
