romeeezybabyParticipantI can’t think of any other All Star caliber Center in the Western Conference other than Yao, and with Yao on the shelf the Lakers young Center is the only player that IMO makes sense.

R-Dot-13ParticipantI think another possibility is Andris Biedrins.

sheltwon3ParticipantBynum should make it this year along with Jefferson. The East will be interesting.

doubledribblerParticipantSince the fans pick the starters, I wouldn’t be surprised if the pick is Amare. Jefferson will probably be the other guy. I doubt more than 2 centers will be put on that team because there are other positions in the West that are stacked. If a 3rd guy sneaks in, it will probably then be between Okafor and Biedrins, but I just don’t see that happening.

kong47272ParticipantHe is also helped by the fact that Duncan refuses to let himself be classified as a Center even when it comes to all-star voting.
Al Jefferson will be the starting center for the West this year, and I also think Bynum’s teammate Pau Gasol will make it over him. That leaves Bynum with an outside shot at making the All-Star team, he just has to hope that another center in the West isn’t having a good year or if Stat gets considered at the C position.
Honestly I think Bynum will just have an average start to the season and be left off of the All Star team

McWinningParticipantinjuries could be a problem too. i just dont think even if hes healthy with the role hell be given hell be an All-Star. their loaded and he might be the 4th option. however in the future i think hell be an All-Star center.

j1232eParticipantMehmet Okur also frequetly called the “MONEY MAN” from craig bolerjack. Okur has been an allstar 2 seasons ago. Okur averages 18 ppg. and nearly 9 rebs. Okur will be an allstar this year.

marcusfizer21ParticipantIf he isn’t hit with another major injury again, he might have a spot on the All-star team but there are a lot of other players that deserved that too…Like Al Jefferson, Mehmet, even Greg Oden (if he improves this year)… But we’ll see… Good point though…Andrew will have the chance…
