mixtape2003ParticipantI think him and Zeller will battle for the starting spot, should be a good rotation at the PF spot either way

terrancebowerParticipantI hope they give Zeller another shot, I think he could be a pretty good player. I think he’ll be the opening day starter. I also think Vonleh will come along slowly at first, but yeah he definitely has more long term potential than Zeller. I think these two will really be battling it out for minutes this year.

festar35ParticipantEither way I think they have a great big man duo for the future with Zeller at C and Vonleh at PF when Jefferson is done in Charlotte.
I think they could be a dominant tandem if they get developed properly in Charlotte, with Zeller working on his low-post game and Vonleh on his mid-range ability would be good compliments to each other, not too mention both can get out and run.
I think going into this season the job is Zellers to lose, when McRoberts was out for a brief period last year I am pretty sure Zeller was C and Jefferson at PF.

DolanCareParticipantIf Zeller proves to spread the floor (remember that was one of his selling points during the 2013 draft) then he gets the starting job. Vonleh is a bit of a project and could use a year coming off the bench… at least in the beginning of the season.
The Hornets revolve around Jefferson getting buckets. The more space he gets the better. Plus, seeing Kemba, MKG and Zeller on the fast break would be pretty cool. Big Al could just wait for the ball to come back to the other end since few could catch those three in a dead sprint.

Rip255Both those guys will be starting calibre PFs in the future, but as for next season they’ll be amongst the worst starting PFs in the league.
Thats not a knock on either of those guys cos theyre inexperienced and its a stacked position. But to refer to them as anything other than a bottom 5 starting PF would be wrong.
Even Philly has Nerlens who is ahead of those 2…and thats philly!

trelos6ParticipantJust need to get rid of Biyombo.
Charlotte is really building something nice.
Walker, Henderson, MKG/Taylor, Zeller/Vonleh, Jefferson. Still have 20 mil in cap space to sign agents.
I say, if they can absorb Stoudamire’s deal and pickup Shump, trading maybe MKG in the process, and picking up the rights to a few draft picks, things could get interesting.
