Tobe BryantParticipantMario Chalmers is alot like Rajon Rondo.
A defensive minded PG with the ability to change the game at any given moment. Chalmers has a MUCH better jumpshot, but with the emergence of Bosh and LeBron you will think that he will be the NEW Rondo and excluded from the equation.
I personally believe Chalmers will flourish into an overnight celebrity of sorts and be tagged as an elite PG in years to come. It may sound farfetch, but who would ever have imagined the type of player that Rondo has morphed himself into.
Expect big things from Mario Chalmers maybe next year or in the FUTURE!!!

sc0rebuckets11Participantbecause rondo is an elite playmaker, and thee best playmaker on the celtics.
chalmers is not, and not even the best on his team. bron & wade automatically cut down his assists.

ChrischiParticipantI disagree. I have to say that I wouldn’t even let him start. And he has way more range than rondo and like scorebuckets said, he won’t handle the ball alot.

RUDEBOY_ParticipantLOL..Dude Chalmers is nothing like Rondo…Plus Chalmers lost his starting spot to a guy like Carlos Arroyo who has been a career journeyman ..Chalmers is not a point guard..He’s better suited to come off the bench…

SwatLakeCityParticipantI actually like Chalmers. He’s just young and needs to learn. I think it is possible that he really improves and becomes one of the point guards that everyone wants like Rondo is. When he was in Kansas, I thought between him and Collins, Chalmers was the one that I could see in the NBA, and I liked him a lot more because of it.

ChrischiParticipantI mean he has range and plays defense. That’s great and I think he could help every team in the league. But he won’t explode like Rondo because he just won’t get the ball.
