Even after receiving MVP award at the PIT he still isnt on it. Come on… he should be almost a lock now to get drafted.

    Just though I would share

ESPN has him as a mid-first rounder.

Jerome Randle was MVP of the PIT last year and didn’t get drafted.

    Just thought I would share.

Theres probably 4 jerome randles that come out every and almost all of them dont make it in the league.

Ive watched Butler his three years at Marquette and hes done a great job as the 4th option his first year (behind James, Matthews and McNeal) and also the last two years where he was their best player. Hes a very good defender, has a great midrange game, can rebound and takes his game very seriously. He defintiely has first round potential in this draft but at least early second. Its easy to compare him to Wes Matthews since hes from MU but he is in that same mold except hes a three not a two.

@afree15 Hey you are the one who made it sound like winning the MVP at the PIT makes someone a lock to get drafted. I just want you to know that winning the MVP at the PIT doesn’t make someone a lock to get selected.

I agree though, Butler has way more upside than Randle ever did and he should easily get drafted in the second round. He played well and measured out to be a legit small forward in the NBA.
