LeBron did drop 25 on the DEETROIT Pistons..en route to going to the NBA Finals. The team he faced was way better then the Mavs. & He had just about no talent around him. No offense to Donyell Marshall, Boobie Gibson, Eric Snow, Drew Gooden, & Larry Hughes. (I think it was Hughes)

Lebron is pretty much better all-around, except he isn’t quite as good an on-ball defender. Everything else has to go to Lebron. As RickyRubio alluded to, that Pistons team Lebron single-handedly beat was better than that Mavs team Wade took over against. That Pistons team won a title the year before I believe. Lebron can heroically carry a team too at his best just like Wade can.

I’d say Lebron is the better overall player than Wade. I’d rather have Wade taking my last shot though and I’d rather him defend the other teams hot hand from the perimeter (if they aren’t too tall). His got the dog in him for that kind of thing in comparison to Lebron

Dwade Lebron Defense. Lebron ok defender 1 on 1 great off ball defender but Dwyane plays good defense every game.

I think in late game situations the ball will run through Wade’s hands. I think Wade is definitely the better scorer, I can’t say about the defense I don’t really know. Lebron is the better passer and he’ll probably handle a lot of the PG duties. One of the two is gonna have to learn to play better off the ball and I think Wade is better suited for that because of his superior jump shot.

I think the biggest difference in the supporting cast’s has been Lebron’s lack of a true #2 option. When Wade won the title in 06 he had Shaq (barely past his prime) to throw the ball in to and who could get his shot at anytime. also Antoine Walker was a legit wing option and he had James Posey (40 % 3 point shooter) and Gary Payton (not a huge scoring threat but could still punish smaller guards down low) off the bench. All of these things meant that Wade could carry the offense but he didn’t have to do it on every possession.

I think Lebron’s situation has been different. All of his wings are spot up shooters, as is his PG and Shaq’s not quite young enough to provide enough punch. Also Lebron has had almost no punch off the bench (no Boobie Gibson does not count) Lebron’s had almost nobody who has been able to create their own shot. Mo Williams can occasionally as can Jamison, but not consistently enough to give Lebron enough of a break.

Lebron is the better player, Wade had one great series against the Mavs who choked mid way through the 4th qtr of Game 3. What has Wade done since he had that great Finals series nothing he’s lost in the 1st round 3 of the last 4yrs.
One series doesn’t make you a better player, if so Paul Pierce is better than Kobe becaz he outplayed him in 2008 and they went guarded each other a lot.

Lebron chokes this past year against the Celtics but they weren’t beating the Celtics anyway.
They couldn’t stop KG, Rondo was abusing them and Ray Allen/Perkins outplayed the Cavs SG/C almost the whole series. With the Cavs it would’ve been the same story every year till they had cap room they have grt regular seasons by beating up on a weak East Conf. Than there defense is exposed in the playoffs and the coach has no game plan except have Lebron go 1 on 5. No post game, transition game, if the shooters don’t make open 3’s they have no chance.

How’d Lebron do against the Magic is that considered choking too?
If so you don’t know much about basketball.
What about the 25 pts in the 4th qtr and OT against the Pistons the best defensive team in the league.
2008 he scored what 45 on Pierce in Game 7 was that a choke job.
No one mentions Kobe shot 6 of 24 in Game 7 against the Celtics or 10 of 29 in Game 3 both games the Lakers won.
How many superstar players can shoot that poorly and still have their team win. He also shot 40% for the series but you don’t hear ppl bring that up, why caz they won thanks to the supporting cast mainly Gasol.

Also with the game on the line give Mike Miller the ball he’ll be open and he’s a much better pure shooter than both Lebron and Wade.

LOL..U know what? This might sound crazy but..Lebron goin to Miami might be the best thing that could happen to Wade..

What i mean by that is Wade plays at an out out pace..each and every game..not many players attack the basket the way he does and receives the constant physical contact he does…that style of play wouldve soon worn down his body..Wade has been injured or played his injuries the past few years..and with the poor supporting cast he had felt like it was up to him to take over games..Lebron goin there might add a few years to Wade’s career…..

I bet in 2 years nobody will be saying its Wade’s team…thats right in 2 years Miami will be known as Lebron’s team….

It’s Micky Arison’s team first and Pat RIley’s second. All of this talk about who’s team it is is just stupid. LeBron and Wade are both incredible players, but LeBron is better. People say that LeBron isn’t clutch, does anyone remember his game winning shot last year against the Magic? As a Magic fan, I can tell you that I remember and it was painful to see. Does anyone forget that the two biggest buzzer beater shots of the Lakers season were MISSED by Kobe and rebounded and put back by two of his AWESOME teammates. Anytime LeBron or Wade play in a playoff series the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th best players in the game are on the other team. Also, why does the best player on the team have to take the last shot. Clearly, Derek Fisher is nowhere near as good as Kobe, but he has hit tons of clutch shots for the Lakers. LeBron has had one bad playoff game in his career, and everyone makes it seem like he’s not clutch. His career playoff averages are 29.3 PPG, 8.4 RPG, and 7.3 APG. Those seem like pretty impressive numbers to me. Here is a comparison of D Wade and LeBron purely by numbers.

Wade is a top 3-5 player in this league, but LeBron is the best for a reason.

lol at he quit vs boston. there is no comp between wade and james. this is the first time i have actually seen anybody say he is better. lol @ sayin wade can shoot better than james. when? from where? cuz wade cant shoot a lick. yes he a got a ring against the MAVS while bron took his terrible team to finals against while doin with wade did to the mavs to the pistons. its no comp!!

The more i think about it the more i realize that Lebron’s a better overall player, but Wade has the killer instinct to close out games..Wade’s a winner..Lebron’s not a loser but he’s not a winner you gotta have a ring to be a winner. And it will always be D Wade’s team..he was there first, Lebron joined HIM in Miami..and yeah, Miami gets all the pub cause of Lebron, but thats cause Lebron is the most recognizable face in basketball.

If this is the case than a lot of hall of famers are not winners either. malone, stockton, maravich, iverson, ewing, drexler, wilkins.

Dwade < Lebron. Overall Lebron has him he is a 6 ft 8 260 pound athletic freak that can do a little bit of all. If he had the work ethic he could be better then jordan but he does not want to be the greatest.

Wade’s shot is better, not even close. maybe one day Lebron will learn how to shoot…probably not…hasn’t developed in 7 years very much.

– Wade’s shot is better??? Wade shot less than 30% from behind the 3pt line.. and Lebron is taking pull up three’s all the time and shoots over 30%. Michaels or Kobe’s shot weren’t much better at 25 years old so stop talking trash.

Wade has a better handle/crossover….LeCrab is too busy takin 5 steps every play and crab dribbling all over the place.

– Every NBA-Star is taking those 5 steps and gets help from the refs with no-calls.

– Wade is the best defending guard. He’s a beast and better than Lebron.

Lebron will never have the ability to do something like Wade did vs Dallas.

– Getting 25 FT-Attempts? That’s pretty tough, dunno what Wade gave to the refs to get all those FTs.

Lebron is better, just accept it. He can play all 5 positions, is a better rebounder, better passer, scored more points on the number 1 team in the reg season, he shot over 50% from the field, he has a jumper stop talking BS and had the better 3pt shot last season. Only thing which is still pretty bad is his FT. He needs a 82% or something since he is getting so much to the line.

But who knows how things will develop. I’m really looking forward to see them play together and see how their numbers will develop. I really hope that they’re going to use LBJ as a PG who sets up Wade. I mean the Heat big-men are rather small, but if they have a LBJ, Wade and Miller they can overpower every backcourt. And they have Chalmers who can chase 3 point shooter like RayRay. Please Spoelstra put LBJ at the point.
