Meditated StatesParticipantTrade Lebron for Blake Griffin, Eric Gordon, and Al Thorton. Maybe throw in next years 1st round pick and this years second.Let him be in the big market that he wants, and fight it out with Kobe.Lebron wants to hold Clevland hostage because he can’t get it done. Why lose him for nothing when he rolls out of that city cause he will. Who would be king of LA? I like Killer KB. Who do you like?

mmichnowicz1ParticipantI understand in principle the idea behind it, but the reality is why would u trade the best player in the league a player that takes your team from a lottery team to a near championship team, for 3 players that are either rookies, first of second year players. Are you really getting your worth out of that. As much fun as that would be to watch from a fans standpoint why would the cavs do that. I do not think Memphis would make that trade.

Mr. BasketballParticipantits the clippers not memphis and if it came with an extension obviously the clips do that trade. i say lebron would be king.

Meditated StatesParticipantHe can walk with you getting nothing in return. If he leaves cause Clevland called his bluff they are screwed for sure.

Johnny_HazeltineParticipantThere’s no way I’m ever trading LeBron. Cleveland is in a severe championship drought, and LeBron is a home town guy and the best player in the NBA. NO CHANCE HE GETS TRADED BY CLEVELAND, EVER!!!

Meditated StatesParticipantHe will walk. He goes to his hometown teams games wearing yankee caps while they are playing the yankees. I dont see this cat as loyal like that. He wants to be with Jay Z and the Nets so he can play with Devin Harris and Brooke Lopez. Wouldn’t those two guys be big upgrades to the roster they have now. If he walks he walks is crazy. Enjoy starting all over. The Magic rolled the Dice and Shaq left so good luck. They had to wait until Dwight came so.

mmichnowicz1Participantbut their must be a better trade you can make, than that. I also do not think he will leave. New York is a bigger market, but if he wants to succede, and show the world he is the best player every if it in his best interest to leave cleveland. He is that citys sports life. The browns are awful, their baseball team is bad, and know one cares about Hockey. He can be the center of attention their everyday for sports.

Meditated StatesParticipantHe is going to Jersey to play with Devin Harris and Brooke Lopez. His man Jay Z is part owner. The nets are going to land Lebron wait and see. He can get one with Harris and Lopez and Lebron knows it.

llperezIs the Laker’s town. I can gaurantee you that Kobe would be the king of LA as long as he was a Laker and LeBron was a clipper.

cumoneileen8ParticipantIf anything, the clips would at least need to include Camby on top of all that. Mo Williams, Delonte West, Al Thornton, Blake Griffin, Marcus Camby
Thats not nearly as terrible for the Cavs. I still don’t really like it that much, but it makes more sense. Cleveland become more well rounded, and LA gets a franchise changing star with instant results.
To be real though. I honestly don’t see him leaving unless it is to NY. At least there they will have the salary space to get another top level star to go alongside him, plus another good player alongside that, plus an uptempo system like D’antoni’s that will take advantage of Lebron’s unstoppability in the open court.

auberParticipantCan we stop the ridiculous trade rumors. Their pretty pointless.

gwh21Participantthe only way lebron is POTENTIALLY getting traded is if the Lakers trade Kobe, Pau and Odom…so in short, IT AINT HAPPENING!

grizz_fan7ParticipantIf the cavs traded LeBron the fans would run the organization out of town

Meditated StatesParticipantThey will lose him for nothing like the Magic lost Shaq when they gambled. It took them years to recover. They got no players in return for the Daddy. That hurts 4real you’ll see.

rvirsalParticipantBaron Davis: “I’m the king of L.A.”
He used to say that a couple of years back. just adding another guy in the mix. oh btw, that trade won’t happen, lebron won’t leave cleveland via trade. cavs would let him walk if he wants to. (not unless he goes out to the media a demands a trade like what kobe did before, but that would mean that cavs would trade scraps for chris bosh or something… and then lebron is happy again)
