You forgot one:chemistry, that will be the main reason if they underperform

Chemistry may have a big role in seeing how far this team goes but people are overdueing it a little bit how did the 08 celtics win it their first year, or how did the 08 lakers go to the finals after getting gadol at the trade deadline that year, and even the heat fixed that whole chemistry issues within a month of the season, that if it wasnt for dirk and how unstoppable he was that year no one would of beat the heat.

I’ve been saying this Mike Brown is a Joke of a coach. Also Ron Artest age and lack of athletism has been catching up to him rapidly. The guy knows how to play, but his body isn’t able like play like it once did.

Ron Artest is in the best shape of his life right now.

He will have a great season.

It just hit me that we’re going to see Steve Nash leading a team with Kobe Bryant who just came off a 28 ppg season, Dwight Howard, the best defensive player in the league, and Pau Gasol who can still put it in the hole. I don’t see how a Nash led team with so much talent can underachieve, I can’t, I really think that the only teams that can beat them are the Thunder, Spurs and Heat, those 3 plus the Lakers are the 4 best teams in the leauge in my opinion.

Steve Nash, Kobe Bryant, Ron Artest, Pau Gasol and Dwight Howard. With Steve Blake/Chris Duhon, Jodie Meeks, Devin Ebanks, Antawn Jamison/Earl Clark and Jordan Hill off of the bench.

The pressure is *CLEARLY* on Mike Brown to get the job done with that roster. As long as everyone can stay healthy, they should win the championship.

Age combined with the Thunder young guns will be the death of the Lakers. Westbrook vs. Nash………….

Mike Brwon’s friendl style of coaching won’t be so bad with Eddie Jordan, and Bernie Bickerstaff. Those are 2 hard-nosed coaches who will buckle down on the players. MWP hasn’t been any trouble since joining LAL and I don’t expect it now. Kobe asked for the additions he got and rarely calls teammates out at this stage in the media, only propping them the way he has done with Bynum the past few years.

IMO, the only thing that can ruin LAL at this point is the injuries and age. Neither of which I expect to become an issue.

Kobes willingness to take less shots for the better of the team. Don’t get me wrong still right there with the best scorers but Of the 22 games he played in that the lakers lost, Kobe shot 40% or less in 8 games and 30% or less in 6 games. He gotta be willing to do to do that, and with the shooters and talent around him he shouldn’t think twice. Thiw will also boost kobes effeciency and shooting percentage, this is all in theory and based on stats though. The lakers just gotta make it happen, teams win games.
