Durant still has youthful charisma and charm and is actually a more skilled player. Lebron is a physical freak who is seems more and more like an egomaniac with every passing day. Durant will no doubt be the best player on his team for years to come, while Lebron could actually become a facilitator for Wade and Bosh to thrive. I’d say the advantage definitely goes to Durant at this point.

It will be Kevin Durant, he is younger, and has so much potential, and he is also the perfect Role Model for everyone. I love his humility and his style of play. Right now he is hands down, my favorite player, with Deron Williams coming in as a close second. I just love his attitude and the he handles things. Lebron is good, but I hate how he handles things, for example free agency this year. I hated all the publicity that surrounded it, Durant just got an extension with the Thunder, but you didn’t hear much rumbling about it, and he is the same kind of player as Lebron is. He will be a good face of the NBA, and will bring the league just what it needs. Lebron will start to lose face, because of his offcourt attitude, and the fact that he is now relying on another superstar like himself to win a championship, when he could do it elsewhere, like in Chicago or New Jersey. Although I will say this Lebron handles things much better than Kobe, but Durant is even better. James step aside, a new star has been born.

But John Wall will be a close 2nd..People really don’t know how great Wall is going to be..He brings a dimension to the game that will make him better then Derrick Rose or CP3.. .So after he works out the kinks in his game he’s going to explode…

but Cp3 and Deron Williams will continue to be 1a/1b PG’s in the NBA. Like a poster in this forum pointed out, he’s going to have to learn to play different speeds like how Cp3 and Deron has. The command both have of their team in the half court is a thing of beauty.

I honestly must admit though, John Wall might very well be the best PG finisher I’ve seen in terms of not just scoring but passing in a fast break setting.

I still think some John Wall fans are getting ahead of themselves already with swearing he’s going to take over. Let’s see how he stacks up against Brandon Jennings first. That’s more of an intriguing match up IMO than him going up against Cp3, Deron Williams, or Derrick Rose (players that are already well established in the association).

Well, in 5 years, Wall will be a face of the game, or a bust…going with the former, not the latter.

Aside from that, Kobe will still be a prominent figure in the NBA, though it will be his final reign as the best in the league. LeBron will always be in the NBA news spectrum due to his popularity, but it’s easiest to say Durant will be the beast of the future. At some point, Durant will be winning scoring titles, and vying for MVP’s on a really good, competitive team. But who, knows, things change so much in the league nowadays. It will be fun to watch the landscape of the game unfold.

I think it will be Lebron. He is a better passer and a little bit better rebounder. Lebron also has the overvalued defence he plays (he really isn’t that good on-ball). Durant will win at least 3 scoring titles in the next 5 years but I don’t think he will be considered the best.

It is going to be LeBron. Let’s not be foolish. Kobe was indicted on rape charges and demanded a trade in a grocery store parking lot. Now, you can’t go to a Laker game in any city without seeing women of all ages in their Kobe getup. If LeBron wins in Miami, the only fans who won’t forget about the spectacle of his free agency is those in Cleveland. And most of their fans have left the city in search of a better job, so maybe they’ll be okay with it down the road.

Rose is a pass first point guard who scored because the Bulls didnt have anyone else. Watch this year with more offensive weapons Rose will be more of a facilitator.

Wall is score first point guard who has good passing ability but is more point minded than assist minded.

Rose is a stone wall of emotions. He is a pg version of Tim Duncan.

Wall created his own stupid flex dance and did it every chance he got……. nuff said

Rose has improved his jumpshot by leaps and bounds since entering the league.

Wall will have to prove that he will put in the effort to get a consistant jumpshot like Rose did. It is not a garuntee that he will.

@Chewy, not sure Rose has a consistent jump shot at all…he certainly doesn’t hit many threes. If anything, he’s a drive to the basket PG, smaller version of LeBron the way he attacks the basket. And I couldn’t disagree more, he is more of a shoot first, pass second PG, Wall has shown even in college, he’s willing to give up the ball quicker, his passing abilities are already above that of Roses’.

Rose is definitely the better player now, because Wall hasn’t even played yet, but that will change…

Kevin Duant he’s only 21 doing this imagine what he will be doing in 5 years ans he has a likeable personality he dont have a big ego who is a willing passer never has talk down on his teammates he do’s to the neighborhood he from every summer and hangout and play ball with those guys durant will be about 27 then imagine his stats once he get his assists up we will be witnessing greatness and his work ethic is like no other.

dont get me wrong lebron is great but playing with two other stars have took some of that greatness away he’s going to win championships in miami but dont won be the same like they were if he was in clevleand his home state where grew up all his life and letting his fans and hometown down really hurt alot of people but you can deny talent. dont sleep on harrison barnes

Rose’s shot definently did not extend to the 3 point arc this past season (neitheir did any other bulls player apparently).However Rose does have a consistant Mid Range game now and he already has the giant killer floater in the lane that complimnets his amazing ability to get into the lane whenever he feels like it. Rose has never wanted to be the number one scoring option. In HS he teamed up with Eric Gordon on the AAU curcuit so that he could focus on being a pg instead of a scorer. In college he made CDR look like a first team all american. Led a less talented Calipari team (much) farther than Wall did. (I mean who would you rather have: Cousins or Joey Dorsey, Patrick Patterson and Daniel Orton or Robert Dozier, Eric Bledsoe or Willie Kemp) On the Bulls he gladly set up Ben Gordon time after time. This past year was a fluke because the Bulls had no one else that could do anything. I’m willing to bet that Derrick Rose would rather average 13 points and 10 assists than 22 points and 6 assists.
