So, this thread is not meant for a million different trade proposals, although feel free to throw them out there if you can’t help yourself. The reason that I pose this question is this…I cannot stand seeing Chris Bosh and Amare Stoudamire being added to so many trade proposals where people have NO consideration for contract situations. Trading away the 1st pick for Bosh? Ridiculous, even for the Clippers. Amare to Minnesota for Al Jefferson AND #6? Although it was reported at first from a “reputable” source, it just doesn’t make much since it would almost definitely be a 1-and-Done situation in Minnesota for sure. Also, free agents like Ben Gordon on the Bulls CANNOT be traded for draft picks. In a sign-and-trade situation, where Ben Gordon holds ALL of the cards as an unrestricted free agent, would be the premiere piece in a deal (meaning he couldn’t be part of ‘future considerations’). So, the Bulls cannot move ‘Tyrus Thomas and Ben Gordon’ for Amare since Ben Gordon cannot sign as a free agent until the free agent period begins on July 1st, days after the 2009 Draft takes place. It just cannot happen, it is against league rules according to one of the sports editors of the Chicago Tribune.

That all being said, who will be the BIGGEST NAME player moved on Draft Night (or involving the Draft)? Now, the reason that I also put BEST player is that if a guy like Shaq gets traded, and then Chris Bosh gets moved, I think that Chris Bosh is the better player but isn’t as big of a name as Shaq. So, who do you think will be moved?

In my opinion, Chris Bosh will be moved in a deal involving 1 or more 2009 NBA Draft picks. Notice how I haven’t said where he’s going, or for what because none of us REALLY have any clue. While it’s fun to speculate, it’s pure luck if someone thinks up a trade and it actually comes true. It really is.

So, who do you guys think? Shaq? Amare? Bosh? Someone Else?

Could be T-Mac, you might be right. I don’t know who would really want T-Mac and his $23,000,000.00 plus salary…I guess I wouldn’t mind if the Bulls got him to play SG if Gordon leaves and because his salary expires after the 2009-2010 season. I bet a lot of people wouldn’t mind getting $23 million expiring contract, since if he can still even play T-Mac can still score. If he can even run up and down the court anymore. I keep thinking about him missing a couple of dunks last year, which is pretty crazy considering how he used to be. I think he’s done, take his $23,239,561.00 for 2009-2010 and then retire filthy rich and brought up in some of those “Who is the best player not in the Hall of Fame” talks.

Tmac 2 the Knicks for Larry Hughes & Jared Jeffries…what do u guys think??
Mac is my favorite player, but he’s never gonna suit up for the Rockets again, with this trade the Rockets get a guy in Hughes who can defend and put points on the board, and his contract is only 1 more year, he can do everything Wafer can do, plus defend…and Jeffries is a versatile defender who would fit great with Houston!!!

Tmac gives the Knicks huuge cap relief…and size on the perimeter when he returns from injury!!!

    What do u guys think???

    Rubio will be traded

    Thabeet will be traded

Don’t really see any real Big Names being traded. There could be some very good players traded though….

This is my best guess of possible players that could be traded on draft night:
    Acie Law
    Kirk Hinrich
    Amir Johnson
    Yi Jianlian
    Cuttino Mobley
    Rafer Alston
    Josh Howard
    Sergio Rodriguez

Yes I think there will be a lot of trades.

Why would the rockets trade for larry hughes and jared jeffries? talk about overrated players. if lebron couldnt get larry to produce what makes you think aaron brooks can? and jared jeffries? please. its pretty well known that the knicks are trying to move jeffries and curry but houston is not just going to give tmac away. be reasonable. next thing youre going to say is tmac is going to the lakers for 2 packs of gum and a kobe rookie card.
