My vote goes to Tobias Harris. Who would you choose and why? Thanks

Anthony Bennet is stronger longer and more agressive. Bennett is also much faster and way more of a terror in transition while being the better natural shooter, scorer and overall athlete.

ABs physical gifts and mentality are on just a whole other level compared to Tobias.

I do think that Harkless will end up better then MKG tho.

I notice alot of people dont believe in Bennett…………But this kid is going to surprise everyone…He’s not a franchise player, but i believe he was the most nba ready player in this draft….I expect him to avg. 18 pts/7rbs as a rookie….

Tobias Harris has never gained 18 pounds of fat in the off season. Harris is a pure scorer and showed he can drop 30 points and 20 reb on any given night in the NBA. I really can’t see Bennett capable of dropping those kind of numbers in the NBA. Tobias is 6’8 226 and almost 21 years old. Bennett is 20 years old 6’8 and his weight fluctuates between 240 and 260. There is no way he will be more agile than Harris. Maybe he can bang more down low with that frame but Harris is quicker, faster, and can drain threes in an uptempo system.

No Harris is not faster and tho he may be slightly more agile he doesn’t have nearly the explosiveness that Bennet has.

Also that whole weight thing is overblown tell me how much gaining weight during the draft process affected Waiters last year.

And I think we can al agree that everybody on the Magic had inflatrd stats last year.

You give no reasons as to why Bennett is better. Harris is faster look it up, he’s in better shape, he’s a better shooter, better ball handler, more agile, and better all around player. Yes most players have inflated stats of 30 points and 20 reb all the time. All players can do that if their team lets them give me a break. Please tell me how Bennett is a better player. They are less than a year apart in age and Tobias is on his 3rd year in the NBA, has proven he can put up big numbers, and has shown he has great work ethic. What has Bennett done? He was a reach as the first overall pick. Just because you were the first pick doesn’t mean you’re better than players like Tobias Harris, Jonas Valanciunas, or other young up an coming players. But please explain why he’s better.

I have to disagree that Bennet is superior to Harris. Bennet is build like a center trapped into a 6’7″ body. He is very strong and good in transition and cutting but Harris is build like a deer and might be more agile while beeing almost equally strong. Debatable to me since I don’t see the Larry Johnson explosiveness in him.

I know I sound crazy when I say this, but when I watch Tobias Harris play I see Carmelo. The way he comes over screens and just pops it, and his ability to play both forward positions. They had the exact same build entering the league, and if you look at Tobias’s stats from the Magic last year you’ll notice that they are practically identical to Melo’s at the same age. While Tobias will never be Melo I find it interesting to think that he couldn’t become a serviceable player who put up 20-5-3, or go to scorer at stretches during a game; I like that kind of potential, and I like the Magic team they’re building down there, so Tobias will have every chance to succeed.

Melo pre-draft Measurements- 6’6.25 w/o shoes, 233, 7′ wingspan, 8’9 reach, 33.5 inch vert,, and only had 7 bench press
    Sophomore Stats: ppg 20.8, RPG: 5.7, AST:2.6, FG%: 43%, 3FG: 26%

Harris pre draft Measurements- 6’6.5 w/o shoes, 223, 6’11 wingspan, 8’7.5 reach, 37 inch vert, and Tobias was the faster player.
    Sophomore Stats (With Magic): ppg: 17.3, RPG:8.5, AST: 2.1, FG%: 45%, 3FG: 33% with one steal and a block
