I would either say Udoh, Hayward, or Aminu because they will all probably come off the bench.

I think I’m one of the few people that thinks Udoh won’t be a bust. I don’t think he’ll be a star but I think he can be a solid starter.

As for top ten busts? I just have a feeling that it’ll be Aminu. The little I saw of him didn’t impress me.

I think it’s Aminu. He doesn’t have the range to be an effective small forward and doesn’t really have the size to play power forward. Also, I think he came out of college too early. I think sitting on the bench will stagnate his development.

I agree with most in that I think Aminu will be a bust, but it also depends on what people call a bust. I personally dont think Derrick Favors is ever going to be anything more than a 14 and 8 kind of player…which for a guy who is supposed to be the huge “upside” guy in this draft and was drafted ahead of alot of guys who i think will be better, I would say I think Favors is going to be a bust. He wont be out of the league in 5 years, but he wont be a world beater either.

Ekpe Udoh was a shocker at 6… Why would the Warriors take a guy who has similar role with Brandan Wright? The only problem is Brandan has a much higher ceiling than Udoh… Not to mention he won’t be playing his first game of the season until February so yeah, it sucks for Ekpe right now…

I think the top 10 buts will be Udoh, Monroe, and Aminu. Udoh will not suck he will be a solid starter he is just a bust for going #6 if he went 9-15 he wouldn’t be considered a bust.

Aminu won’t be a bust.. I’m kinda biased kus ima klipper fan but he has all tha tools to be good.(size 6″9, wingspan-7″4)hell develop a jump shot hopefully sooner than later,he has prtty good d, he gets rebounds, his ball handling is pretty good especially on tha fast break..the only problem I saw out of him in summer league wus him settling with the jump shot or the 3 ball and it wusnt on point..but he kan only get better

Ekpe udoh will be a good defensive guy..but that’s not good enuff to be a 6th overall pick

I like gordon hayward he plays within himself, he never does too much,he’s hella unselfish, kan do a lil bit of everything..you need more guys like this

Monroe a bust?!?! I don’t think he’ll be a bust, he has a lot of upside. But Udoh a bust for sure.

He hasn’t really impressed me, he looks good for a #7 pick but some projected him to go in the top 3 so based on that he will be a bust.

I’d be surprised to see Favors put up all star numbers….’

Johnson doesn’t seem good enough for the #4 pick…

Udoh will be the biggest bust of the top 10…

Aminu might be a decent player but I don’t see anything more than that…

Hayward will be a role player…. Might be Korvers replacement.Nothing more than that…

I think Paul George will either be a gem at #10 or a forgotten player.

I thought Wall, Turner, Cousins and Monroe were all good picks.

Derrick Favors. Lacks the grit and aggressiveness to take advantage of his physical tools. Chris Wilcox 2.0

    Is Johnson starting over Webster?
If not, I dont think his stats will be like 15 and 6.
    He’ll back up Beasley right?

That’s the thing about Minnesota… You have to guess who will start because they acquired a lot of forwards in the draft and trades… Wesley Johnson, Corey Brewer, Michael Beasley, Martell Webster… David Kahn is one confusing GM…

I dont think favors will be all that great either. His athleticism will help him put up decent (12 & 8) numbers. But he seems to have the basketball IQ of a 9th grader.

I would have to guess Udoh, I mean for a 6th pick, he won’t have the output worthy of that selection, maybe a solid rebounder and shot blocker, but I see nothing more than that.

I’m not high on Aminu or Wesley Johnson, Aminu just doesn’t seem to have that star quality, and Wesley Johnson is very average IMO.

I think the guy with the highest upside is Monroe, I love his game, he moves so smoothly for a guy of his size…almost Lamar Odom-esque, minus the PG handles…

    Only time will tell…

rick favors wus soley picked on his upside and athletism.I don’t see any dwight howard numbers coming from him.12 and 8 is reasonable for him..his jumpshot looked pretty decent in summer league tho…

Will be twice the player Wilcox ever was/is. Aminu is inconsistent, but the potential is there. I think it’s clearly Johnson. Especially since they passed up on Cousins. Wesley will be a solid starter, but that’s it.

You guys already know who I am going to say. I will expand that to include Aminu, and Hayward. Aminu may have leeway because I never expected much from him in his first year and Clippers don’t need him right because they have depth so he is more long term. They same could be said for Hayward but Utah does not have great depth and they will need him to give solid bench minutes now.

Udoh is hurt so it is hard to call him a bust if he misses most of the game or at least 15 of them early on and they do have Lee , Wright, and Biendrins.

I for some reason see W. Johnson having a solid rookie year. He has all the right tools to play at this level and i think he’ll do fine. Beasly on the other hand gets me upset because to me he was better in highschool and in college. Maybe he just needs a attitude change…just how i feel

Very skewed when you try to say Wes Johnson averaged 10 pts and 1 reb for summer league. He basically played one half of one game due to an injury.

It’s hard to say Aminu is going to be a bust after watching the SL where he displayed some surprising tools. He turned out to be one of those players that goes like 3-12 from the field but finishes with 20 points because he gets to the line. If anything, offensively at least, he can be a taller version of Corey Maggette. That said, I wish the Clippers had drafted Paul George instead.

My pick for bust from the top 10 picks is Derrick Favors. His motor is not great enough for him to be able at least make a living of rebounds, blocked shots, and garbage buckets in his rookie year. His post moves are pretty bad also. In the SL, he would get the ball in the low post and either a) travel or b) have the ball stripped because he couldn’t react from a double team. If you’re not gonna be able to do that as the #3 pick then he must figure out a way to contribute with his motor while his other skills catch up in time.

Aminu looked real bad in summer league, ugly handle, bad shooter and can’t defend on the perimeter.
i think he will be a bust, he doesn’t have the skills to play SF and i don’t think he could be a 4 ala Josh Smith – lack the elite athleticism of Smith!

i think Udoh will be fine, maybe he gone 3-4 spot earlier but he was a safe pick, he has polish offensive skills and will be more than solid defender!

Monroe is the hardest to predict to me, he could be top 3 player in this draft but also could be big bust, he has great skills for a bigman but it need to be see if he can overcome the lack of athleticism.
