jowens023ParticipantFirst, I cannot find a profile for Thomas Walkup and I am considering putting him in my mock as a late second round selection. Anyone find one?
Next, who will be the best 2016 undrafted players available to try and make a team?
Here’s my 10 with a chance:
Ron Baker, Dorian Finney-Smith, Daniel Hamilton, Ryan Anderson, Georges Niang, Kyle Wiltjer, Andrew Andrews, Josh Adams, Isiah Taylor, Jemeel McKay

sweaterflexParticipantI think Smith and Hamilton get drafted. I would say the best likely undrafted players are Fred Van Fleet and Jameel Warney. Van Fleet reminds me of Jameer Nelson, but with better instincts in passing lanes. Warney is undersized but averaged 16 ppg, 9 rpg, 2 bpg and shot 60% from the field, I could see him as a Jason Maxiell type with better rim defense.

TRC1991ParticipantWarney actually averaged 20 and 11

sweaterflexParticipantI meant for his entire career, he had a great senior year but he was also very good as a freshman and sophomore.

jowens023Participanthe is somewhat similat in some ways to Bolomboy, Bentil and Siakam whom I have had trouble ranking. I think one sneaks into 1st round and Warney is probably odd man out undrafted.
Could Kaleb Tarczewski become an undrafted Plumlee possibly?

Helo1324ParticipantI don’t think VanFleet has the scoring ability of Nelson,

jowens023ParticipantI forgot about Marcus Paige. He shoulda probably been on my list. I don’t think he will make NBA though. Omar Cook hasn’t yet and I see him in a similar spot but not quite as good.

nill650ParticipantI would be surprised if somebody does’nt take a flyer on Derrick Jones , but the list seems pretty on target to me.

jowens023ParticipantI have Layman and English getting drafted in my mock, though I know their bubble at best. Pulling for them though.

dudo670Participantfinney smith gets drafted but if he doesn’t he will be an undrafted steal. As for Walkup, I think he could be a role player in the NBA because he plays so damn hard and is a guy who will hustle and try to cover up his physical limitations. From what I saw in the NCAAs he has a very nice handle and makes up for his lack of foot speed by being able to change pace very well with the ball. Didn’t shoot a good 3pt% but judging by his form and 78% FT I think he’ll be a good enough shooter to keep guys honest. Because he plays hard I think he’ll hold his own on defense and get on the boards. He’s kind of a jack of all trades master of none late second/UFA prospect but if he really develops a shot or point guard skills or defense (which he could do) he could become a very solid rotational guy. Obviously he lacks size and athleticism but he plays so hard that you like to see that.

jowens023Participantthink his handles are pretty decent though. But where is this guys profile on this site?
