ctw724ParticipantIt doesn’t appear they want to or will keep both players. So, who should they keep?

jmr2121ParticipantBEN GORDON, kirk still has plenty ability, hes smart and effective, hell do very well for a bunch of teams throughout the league that need a pg. According to 2K9 hes still got an A- on potential and they dont throw A’s around on potential…therefore it must be legit.

usfballerParticipantScorers off the bench can be found anywhere, not many better then BG, but Kirk is a MUCH better fit with Derrick Rose which should be all that matters.

ctw724ParticipantHow about this?
To Nets: Ben Gordon
To Bulls: Bobby Simmons and the #11 pickGordon can go closer to home, plus be a part of a nice looking team and the Bulls can move to get DeJuan Blair, as well as some bench depth in the hometown boy Simmons.

ctw724ParticipantAccording to the T-Wolves President, they have no more interest in Kirk Hinrich. That still leaves open trade possibilities to Phoenix, Toronto, Golden State, Portland and maybe Sacramento.
At this point, I favor keeping him over BG7. He’s an all-around better player. If they can use BG7 to get DeJuan Blair through New Jersey, I hope they would.

ChiefSixOneParticipantThey are both gone now Gordon via free agency to Pistons , Hinrich traded to Wizards.

ZmZmRREEParticipantThe Houston Rockets are $1.9 million under but with a number of partial and non-guaranteed contracts on the books, Houston can find more spending power if need be. The Phoenix Suns are about $7.4 million under the cap while the Cavaliers have $9.9 million.

BELLY333333ParticipantThe difficulty is that Goudelock has minimal point guard skills, noting during the season he had “never” played the position through college (Charleston). His play in the Las Vegas Summer League didn’t suggest any improvement at the one and, as already noted, the Lakers already have four players at the position.

cxh4334ParticipantGiven that Nowitzki remains Dallas’ clear franchise player, the loss won’t be easy to manage, and it will have to be a by-committee approach. Coach Rick Carlisle can turn to veteran power forward Elton Brand, who was acquired after the Philadelphia 76ers waived him using the amnesty clause, or the skinny but effective Brandan Wright, who emerged as a pleasant surprise last season. Versatile forward Shawn Marion can also help fill the minutes void, shifting positions so the Mavericks can go a bit smaller if necessary.
