Mr.Knick 32Participanthttp://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=2845oh2
The Pistons cut 7 mil off the books for 2011 and Utah get a replacement at the 3 and a player who could come off the bench or start.

ghettosermonParticipantCharlie V is a pretty bad contract but it’s ony 3 years left, including a big expiring like Prince defeats the purpose of the trade. 7 mil isn’t that much with the cap hell they are in with the contracts of BG and Rip.

BasterdInABasketParticipantCharlie V kills this deal. Utah would be better off keeping AK 1 more year. Hes better than Prince and CV is not the type of player Sloan wants

Mr.Knick 32ParticipantI disagree with both of you. Here’s why
Utah needs another big. I think Okur (will return December-ish), Jefferson, Milsap and Fez are a good set but if you add Charlie V to that, you have another element. He could shoot a little bit and he could play the 3 a little bit in big lineups. Prince is someone who is a very solid defender still. I think he’s a nice fit next to Bell as well. To me, Utah gets offense and defense and bench help in this trade. AK47 today is not better then Tyshaun Prince either.
Cap Space is Cap Space.
Also, Jerry Sloan guy? Al Jefferson wasn’t a Sloan guy at all….

Ahkasi ClayParticipantand add Jerebenko, and Stuckey,
i wish we could do this deal without having to take back prince!0 - Posted on: Wed, 09/22/2010 - 3:17am #405004

PlatypusParticipantPistons would not trade there 2 best players from last year who’s contracts are cheap and expiring and princes contract for a bigger expiring contract
Stuckey, Jerebko, and Prince for Ak47???? C’Mon Man!!!
