valentineI saw alot of people post many different things about the 2010 draft and who’s coming out. Who is more likely to stay for another college season?
My picks are
Avery Bradley
Xavier Henry
Tyshawn Taylor
DeMarcus Cousins
Kyle Singlerwho are yours?

blazer_fan_foreverParticipantDeMarcus Cousins stays for another year…He and Wall are as good as gone.
I agree on Taylor, Singler and Taylor…I think they will all stay.
I think if Aldrich and Collins could stay another year if they go far in the tourney, but lose…
Also, John Henson might not stay, but he NEEDS to…

QHaynes20Yea but for me, Henry is a mid 1st rounder…I think he wanna go higher then that?
Same For Cousins

SpencerIsHawesomeI think Singler will go pro as long as he has a good season. If he plays as good as he should he will be picked in the 15-25 range and his ceiling isn’t exactly higher than that so he might as well go pro.

JNixonParticipantTyShawn Taylor. He seems like a 4 year player from what I’ve seen, yet these draft sites have him in the 1st round in the 2010 and 2011 drafts. He isnt an NBA level player just yet, but he develop into one.
Outside of your list, I would go with Al-Farouq Aminu. He would be eaten alive in the NBA if he hasnt SUBSTANTIALLY improved his handles, his shot, his Basketball IQ , and his passing.

gatorheelsParticipantI think Kyle Singler is going to stay at Duke.
I also really think Avery Bradley could stay at Texas for 2 or 3 years. Undersized combo guards usually don’t go high in the draft. I’m not sure how dominant he will be as a freshman.

QHaynes20Yea, i mean Bradley is compared to Westbrook who stayed 2 years in college

Michael.S.ParticipantJohn Henson need’s to stay.Alabi should stay and develop on O, Alot of freshman are 1 and done, Favors, Wall, Sidney, Stephenson.

JNixonParticipantI thought I was the only person that thought Bradley played like Westbrook…

McWinningParticipantSingler with Curry coming that would be loaded so i think he will stay and compete for a championship.

Michael.S.ParticipantWell i compare Ellis to Bradley or vice versa

QHaynes20how?
Bradley does not score like that and he defends better…

Michael.S.ParticipantWell I would compare Ellis to Westbrook in some aspects tooo.
0 - Posted on: Fri, 08/21/2009 - 1:22pm #204276
QHaynes20like what?
Westbrook is a better PG, Defends better and less of a scorer.
0 - Posted on: Fri, 08/21/2009 - 1:25pm #204277
Michael.S.ParticipantOk they are both explosive combo guards who are kinda stuck in between the 1 and 2, Westbrook is a defensive stopper while Ellis can be if he committed, both have decent at best jumpers. that’s why i see the similarities
0 - Posted on: Fri, 08/21/2009 - 1:27pm #204278
QHaynes20OK, I disagree but I understand what you are saying.
Ellis is more of a scorer to me. Westbrook is a all-around guard. I dont think Bradley is as big a scorer as Ellis so hes more comparable to Westbrook to me.

Don’t forget Westbrook was only a rookie last year and he had a very good PPG average, Ellis is the #1 option on his team while Westbrook was the 3rd option.

QHaynes20Yea he did but with Harden coming in and his 2nd season as a PG, I see him numbers at like 16-18 for his career.
Ellis is a 20ppg guy to me.

sameolGParticipantyeah i think Kyle Singler might stay another year depending on the Duke recruiting class coming in… and Avery Bradley might do 2 years also

quincey hodgesid say demarcus since he will get a rude awaking if he continues to slack and not play hard( which is likely) and bradly can score alot qhaynes..he gets buckets at a very easy rate because of the fact hes a very good athlete hes smart and has that skill that most dont and thats a very very good midrange game. who is elis that ya’ll keep talking about?..monte elis?
0 - Posted on: Sat, 08/22/2009 - 10:01am #204585
quincey hodgesand duke will not be a champion this nor next year..singler will be a first rounder reguardless what year he comes out..hes not overly athletic but hes a very very good player
0 - Posted on: Sat, 08/22/2009 - 10:16am #204596

JoeWolf1Singler I think is in the 15-25 range no matter when he comes out, unless he gets injured
