I know this should be posted at the video games part but I just wanted
to know that is it possible to set the gameplay to 12 minutes in MY
Player? It’s only 5 minutes per quarter and it sounds unrealistic…
Other teams scores 100 ppg while me and my team scores 50 or less…
That’s kinda lopsided if you think about it…

 

I reset my account and I am currently playing for the Idaho Stampede… Any tips for me? I’ll appreciate it… Thanks… I am a scoring 2 guard…

The only advice i have is don’t be a athletic PF, you miss open layups and have literally no offence.

You can’t change it. One tip from me would be to keep setting picks on offense. It helps get you an A+ for the game.

I got bored with it after like 50 games. It just takes way too long to get your overall rating up.

My first account… I went to the Summer Circuit with the Memphis Grizzlies… got cut… Wasn’t invited to any camp… Signed with my favorite D-League Team, the Energy and after 21 long games got into an NBA roster… Played with the Hawks but it’s boring all of a sudden because we started losing and I thought that 5 minutes was not that realistic… teams scores 116… We scored like 47 or 55… Pretty ugly and as a matter of fact I am pretty compulsive when we talk about these kinds of games… I want to make it realistic….

 

I just made a new aCCOUNT… Played for the Cavs in the Summer Circuit… Got invited to the Training Camp by CHICAGO!!!… But was cut after 4 games… I am currently with Idaho…

Yeah the stats are are ridiculously lopsided since your team is playing less than half the minutes of every other team. I just wish you could sim through games because and 82 games and having to play with the retarded computer gets old after about 20 games. Whenever i play the game now i just do association

Plus, I can’t stand Stephen A Smith. I think that guy is a tool and listening to him say the same stuff over and over again was aggravating me.

I got to a point, where after each game, he would say that I was able to select a new NBA team to play for from a list. But I never saw the damn list! It just kept going to the next game. And I was a center fro the Spurs! Wanted to pick the Bulls.

Stephen A. Smith shows you the teams at the end of the season. I set the minutes per qt to 9. I usually score between 70 and 90 points. My player mode is not realistic though because when your player gets good enough he can score anytime he wants to on anybody anytime. I made an all around shooting guard. He is rated 78 now and can score at will.

the my player mode is not realistic what so ever. I have a pass first PG, at 6’2 185lbs, and when I played against the pistons, somehow I got to play SF, and Im guarding Austin Daye, you all can guess what happened..
anyways, you always want to pick an athletic type player, because in the game, speed and quickness are the two most expansive skills, if you make a athletic PG I think you start with a speed of 85, which is pretty good, you can get it to 90 within the summer circuit. The only thing is that you will struggle to make shots, the only way to score is by easy layup and fast break.

u can change it man, go to presentation and u can change the amount of minutes. and it may not be the most realistic but i think its the best my player type mode out there right now.

FIZER!!!. You can change it man.. However, you cant change it once you have started “My Player.” You have to change it before hand.. You need to start from the startup screen where you can see options such as “My Player, ” “Game Modes,” “Quick Game,”Features,” “Options,” ect, ect. Now, select the “Options” menu from the bottom right. Then, once inside that menu, select the bottom screen labeled “My NBA.” Go straight up to “Gameplay” and scroll down to “Quarter Length” and change it to whatever you want. This will change it in “My Player” mode. It changes it for every game there so its going to take you a while to get through the preseason stuff. Its alot better when you dont have to play the entire games and the scoring is more realistic. I was scoring about 101 points in 11 minutes per quarter so I would say that in 12 minutes quarters you could score an average of 110 or 114.

Oh.. I should probably mention that in order for that to work, you have to have imported your player from the NBA Draft Combine.
