lalailaParticipanthe didn’t do nothing, but we know how good he handle the ball and we know that he is in Milwaukee as a NBA player already, so why i can’t put him in my top

meisi4Participanti say CP3 is number 1 but D-Will is a good choice here as well so he is #2
wade, crawford and maybe rose could round up the top5…to jennings: i don´t put him in because he hasn´t played a single regular season game and i first wanna see how he does on nba level. but i must say his highlight viedeos from high school look amazing and he could lead this category one day but HS and NBA are different worlds so lets wait what hes really capable of…
0 - Posted on: Sun, 10/11/2009 - 2:58am #220626
meisi4Participantby the way jennings played good in the summer league but im still not sure about him…

Champzilla21ParticipantI think were missing devin harris in the conversation, that behind the legs reverse step back is one of the best moves in the game http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3vqHc05xs4U

Michael.S.ParticipantYes he is older, but you don’t lose handle with age
top 5, no order
T-Mac
Crawford
A.I.
Wade
Paul0 - Posted on: Sun, 10/11/2009 - 10:44am #220699
Champzilla21ParticipantYeah when you get older you lose quickness, and you can have a good handle but if your slow your not going anywhere, why do u think all the people people are listing are in the upper tier of speed and quickness
0 - Posted on: Sun, 10/11/2009 - 10:46am #220700

JNixonParticipant^100% agree. If your not explosive, it does you little to no good to have a good handle.
0 - Posted on: Sun, 10/11/2009 - 11:03am #220702

FastAndFuriousParticipantExactly u can have the tightest handle but if you have no speed it’s really no good
And Fam T-mac got game, but he aint known for shiftin dudes, c’mon be 4real.

llperezjust curious, is “cook game” known as ball handling these days? I know I’m an ancient 28, but I have never heard that expression before.
0 - Posted on: Sun, 10/11/2009 - 11:45am #220729
Champzilla21Participanthaha yeah im only 18 and know most basketball terminology and have never ever heard that expression before when referring to dribbling
0 - Posted on: Sun, 10/11/2009 - 11:48am #220732

llperezI mean, I’ve balled my whole life against all sorts of competition and that is a new one. But since everybody seems to have heard it, maybe I just missed out on it or it never made it’s way out here to california.
0 - Posted on: Sun, 10/11/2009 - 12:10pm #220745
Michael.S.Participantnope they don’t use that anymore and im 16 in H.S., and people who said A.I. still isnt in the upper tier in terms of speed????? all I said is you dont lose handle with age and you don’t i mentioned nothing about speed, and a crossover can le left right not always, up and down to the rim
0 - Posted on: Sun, 10/11/2009 - 12:21pm #220750

JNixonParticipantYea I was thinking the same thing…cook game? Thats a new one..
0- Posted on: Sun, 10/11/2009 - 5:54pm #220839
askaroundParticipantWell I coined the phrase a couple months back while playing 2k9.
It’s pretty simple.
“crossed em'”= “shook em”= “baked em” =
“cooked em”Cook Game!
I’m 28 too, tired of the same old basketball phrases, but if y’all think it’s wack, we can dead it. I wanted to know how my fellow NBA’ers thought about it.
